Larry Flynt, the founder and publisher of Hustler Magazine, has tried to uncover hypocrites who publicly support a sinless society while they enjoy the benefits of Sodom and Gomorrah. According to a recent article in The Politico, Flynt "is once again offering a million-dollar payoff to anyone who can provide documented evidence of illicit intimate relations with a congressman, senator or other prominent officeholder."
The Republican Party has teamed with the religious right and created the catchy label "the moral majority." If you joined this club, you better practice what you preach. Flynt is sick of the hypocrites who accuse others while doing the same thing themselves. The funny part is how all these guys receive forgiveness from their wives and God as soon as they are caught.
While the Republicans were trying to impeach Bill Clinton for his immoral conduct (and lies), Flynt went to town and discovered some of the impeachers had not been good boys themselves. According to the article, "Flynt managed to expose the sexual promiscuity of former House Judiciary Chairman Henry Hyde of Illinois, former impeachment prosecutor Bob Barr and -- his biggest catch of all -- the almost-Speaker Bob Livingston, another Louisianan."
Now, Flynt has added Republican Senator David Vitter to his list of sinning hypocrites. Of course, David has received forgiveness from his understanding wife and from God. Funny thing is, a few years ago, Wendy Vitter told an interviewer that "I'm a lot more like Lorena Bobbitt than Hillary."
The Louisiana senator must now be relieved that wife Wendy is more like Hillary Clinton than she is like Lorena. Just a warning David, I think Lorena cut it off while John Wayne Bobbit was sleeping.

61. I guess it's good Larry Flynt is finding and revealing the hypocrites, but it does seem odd it's him being the "hero". He's picking on these people for pretending to be squeaky clean by finding out they do other things. However, Larry Flynt made money on these people who do the other things. Now he's chasing them down. Isn't that a little bit hypocrytical? I don't know it's all a little strange to me. I just don't like witch hunts that much, from either political side.

65. Larry Flint is laughable. Let's see how many "hypocrites" he goes after. Like the Democrats that supported Clinton's perjury and Monica affair and are now casting stones at David Vitter. I'll be waiting to see how he addresses that hypocrisy. I won't however, be holding my breath.

67. As a New Orleans resident, this revelation comes a shock and a disappointment. Vitter has done so much good for us in the aftermath Hurricane Katrina. He is obviously a good but flawed man. Larry Flynt has ruined his life. Now he is trying to ruin men who at least ATTEMPT to lead a decent life. Let it go!

while ripping people off, protecting big business, pushing for war instead of peace...so, on and so on.

74. I have the same feelings for Larry as I do the Marquis de Sade: it is both important to keep their personal life in mind as well as forget about it. Larry, like de Sade, is a demented individual (by modern society's standards) who publicly and without provocation admits his deviancy. This actually makes him the PERFECT individual to oust others, for Larry is no hypocrite; quite the opposite, in fact, for I doubt anyone can argue that the man doesn't practice what he preaches. The same cannot be said for such people as Vitter.

Read the article again. Flynt outs only those hypocrites who claim to be a member of the so-called "moral majority." He does this because they are hypocrites who do not practice what they preach. Almost all of them are holier than thou Republicans who have jumped on the moral bandwagon. They claim to be fundamentalist Christians to gain political advantage. Flynt is not necessarily against people having sex, he is just against those hypocrites (the key word here) that claim to be family oriented and who patronize prostitutes and indulge in other sexual excesses. Their phony claims to moral purity make them hypocrites, not their sexual activities.
