17. Fred Thompson, who never introduced a bill during his single term in the Senate was one of the leading pushers to impeach Bill Clinton for supposedly lying about having had sex. Yet this same enforcer of the nation's ethics and morality has yet to express a single concern about the current president who used lies to get us into a war against the wrong enemy, found ways to violate the constitutional rights of all Americans, carried out only the parts of passed laws that he agreed with, used torture in Iraq, did a miserable job during the still-present Katrina crisis, invoked executive privelege to prevent the truth from coming out about the political firings of US attorneys, and so much more. Where's the moral outrage, Mr. Thompson?

24. Looking at the opinion polls on congressional democratic leadership, if the dems get the white house and manage it as well as they have done with congress they will be gone by 2011.

27. As this country drifts more and more toward socialism the Democrats will gain more and more power. We will see candidates who are true beleivers in God loose their positions in this government. Then, as the country drifts more toward socialism and away form God, Christians will see a United States they will not recognize. How sad for our great country. I have lived long enough to see how our country has deteriated over the past years. Things are already going on that I would not have imagined just a few years ago. Many people are more passionate in this country about taking God's Name out of everything possible, than they are about loving their neighbors. I beleive we are at the last cross-road, and what we do in the next year or so could change America forever if we make the wrong choices. God will not always bless a country that has turned its back on Him. Judgement will come on America just has it came on all nations before us who turned away from God.
