Norman Hsu is the gift that keeps on giving, and now it isn't just the money to Democratic campaigns, it's a never ending series of headlines. And now he's skipped another hearing and is currently on the run. Even his lawyers don't know where he is:
Hsu's attorneys say they do not know his whereabouts, and that their client did not surrender his passport. In light of this, I would think it would certainly be appropriate for Hillary and the rest of the Democrats to return all the money from this scam artist, including and especially those that were received from his bundlers, such as the Paws of Los Angeles.
Hsu turned himself in to authorities last week after more than 15 years on the run from a felony conviction of grand theft. He admitted to defrauding investors of $1 million in a bogus investment scam.
He failed to appear in court for sentencing on that 1991 conviction, a revelation that prompted high profile Democrats -- including presidential candidate Hillary Clinton -- to return thousands of dollars donated by Hsu.

31. It seems so funny that every four years we have to pick the lesser of two evils, but its sad at the same time. WE, forget so quickly who someone is on the inside and go with what they SAY and forget what they DID. Seldom do we ever ask WHY the did what they did.
I am registered to neither party because I believe both have good qualities and both have corruption. Do we need progression? Absolutely. Could a female handle the job? Sure, I know plenty of strong female leaders that could. Has Bush made decisions that have cost us? Yep there as well.
The question of why still lingers though. This woman has shown her character to be waverable at best. Have we forgotten how she MANIPULATED Obama a few weeks ago into sticking his foot in his mouth about nuclear weapons? She challenges him on not having strong foriegn policy views, and he unfortunately took the bait! I'd bet she sent him a thank you card afterwards.
Is that the kind of character you would want from a President? When you add up the score on Bush, by comparison, the worst he has is being the guy who has been manipulated and has tried to stick by his commitments.
Which person would you trust? A fool can be fooled but a thief will get you when you turn your back.

32. To all you Hillary Haters and Die-Hard Republicans...Let her win the nomination! She is so feared and so hated by so many people (even her own party), that she doesn't have a prayer to win. She and Bill can slink off to parts unknown until they find the next scam and come out all smiles and BS.

* According to our best information, 40 government officials were indicted or convicted in the wake of Watergate. A reader computes that there was a total of 31 Reagan era convictions, including 14 because of Iran-Contra and 16 in the Department of Housing & Urban Development scandal. 47 individuals and businesses associated with the Clinton machine were convicted of or pleaded guilty to crimes with 33 of these occurring during the Clinton administration itself. There were in addition 61 indictments or misdemeanor charges. 14 persons were imprisoned. A key difference between the Clinton story and earlier ones was the number of criminals with whom he was associated before entering the White House.
Using a far looser standard that included resignations, David R. Simon and D. Stanley Eitzen in Elite Deviance, say that 138 appointees of the Reagan administration either resigned under an ethical cloud or were criminally indicted. Curiously Haynes Johnson uses the same figure but with a different standard in "Sleep-Walking Through History: America in the Reagan Years: "By the end of his term, 138 administration officials had been convicted, had been indicted, or had been the subject of official investigations for official misconduct and/or criminal violations. In terms of number of officials involved, the record of his administration was the worst ever."

38. Since the Republicans' are the only ones with the guts to admitt they voted to endorse American Forces in Iraq according to several within the Democratic Party, possibly the question should be who endorsed our Military Occupation in Bosnia? Did Bosnia attack the United States of America? Maybe Americans should remember to first be that American, and not a Democrat or Republican; first!
