As the WaPo describes him, a "top adviser" to the Mitt Romney campaign was caught with a Web site that attacked Fred Thompson:
Before it vanished, the front page of the website featured a picture of a regal Thompson dressed in a frilly outfit more befitting a Gilbert and Sullivan production than a presidential campaign. Under the heading, "Playboy Fred," the site asks the question: "Once a Pro-Choice Skirt Chaser, Now Standard Bearer of the Religious Right?"
Nice. Real classy. Was this done at the request of the Romney campaign? If so, it should be a deal breaker for Mitt Romney. Especially considering Romney's flirtation with abortion is far, far more extensive than whatever Fred Thompson has done on the subject.
We're a long way from Reagan's 11th commandment.

32. mitty romney did nothing for ma. as govaner of ma. while he was here, when a friend wrote him about a youth that need some looking into with family problems and the Department of Social Services he DID NOT Do Nothing about it or the social worker now the kids has problems and feels he was left out in the cold. In my mind i think he would STINK AS A PRESIDENT

I AM A FAN OF FRED THOMPSON AS AN ACTOR, HE PROTRAYS A DISTRICT ATTORNEY VERY WELL. BUT I HAVE TO REMEMBER THAT IS AN ACTOR RECITING A SCRIPT. LAW & ORDER IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SHOWS. THAT TOTALLY SET ASIDE, I AM GOING TO VOTE, WHETHER IT IS FOR FRED THOMPSON, I WANT TO KNOW THE MAN, NOT THE ACTOR, AND STRESS THAT OTHER PEOPLE DO THE SAME, DON'T VOTE FOR "BRANCH THE D.A." 35. It never fails to amaze me how many weak minded individuals believe everything they hear on the "idiot box". Every reporter or anchor,on every radio or TV Station has their own agenda and have been trained in just how to present their side to those weak people who can be so easily influenced and manipulated. I am not a Morman but know many and find them to be intelligent, honest and truthful. Mitt Romney has everything to make him a great President. He was a very succesful businessman, a great Governor for Mass., has a wonderful family, is still married to his first wife after 38 years, has 5 children who love and adore their father, Looks Presidential and behaves like a gentleman. How many of the other "candidates" can live up to his personal standards?

42. Romeny should be held in high regard by conservatives, religious right, evangelical, Baptist, Catholics or any church organizations who use the name of Jesus Christ. In one of the Presidential candidate debates, Romney actually said the name of Jesus the Christ who gave you the Holy Spirit from God.
Do you believe: “Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference"
Do not judge Romney by campaign politicians label of Mormon, learn from what he says from his heart in the spirit of truth.

43. Fred Thompson could split votes for Romney. Choice between Romney and Fred depends on preceptions of regular good old guy Fred, middle of the road and likable personality, as compared to high leadership standards, organization and effective management Romney and a personal believe in God beyond our much limited individual and collective human fragile intelligence.

That calculates out to one million dollars per linner foot of tunnel. He should not be left in charge of anything especially not the chief executive officer of an entire nation because he has already wasted and/or stolden hundrads of millions of dollars of public money.
