If you live in Iowa or New Hampshire you already know. Floridians, too, have an inkling. South Carolina senses something big on the way. It's called the fourth quarter advertising blitz, and come Sunday it will kick into high gear. Yes, with the official end to the third quarter, it will be time to start spending all the money in the presidential war chests. That means a bumper-to-bumper traffic jam of television ads from several well-funded campaigns.
Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have already begun. In Iowa, Both men have so far laid out $2.7 million for air time, and Romney has also spent another $1.7 in New Hampshire. Giuliani and Thompson are poised to pour their cash into Florida, South Carolina, and California, risking that early Romney victories in the first two states won't amount to much in the end. While Romney trails badly in national polls, if he notches a win or two, he'll have that much more free advertising. For a man with an estimated net worth upwards of $250 million, that's a whole lot of Romney on the tee vee.
Meanwhile, though Obama has outspent his rivals in Iowa, he has yet to see it translate into a first place standing in the polls. Clinton still has the lead, with Edwards and Obama in a virtual tie for second. But because it appears that Clinton has a stranglehold on the nomination, an upset in Iowa would have enormous repercussions.
So get ready, America, you're going to be hearing the following phrase more than a few times in the coming months: My name is (insert candidate's name here) and I approve this message.

1. I think Barack has potential, but i dont think he can carry the whole nation at this time. He needs to establish as a Senator more policies and have a greater leadership role in the Senate.. being a nice guy isnt the reason to be President. I watch and listen I think Hillary Clinton has got what it takes.. time to see a woman in the USA in a major leadership role with everyones interests in mind.
I wouldnt think the combination ticket would work either.. Next election Sen Obama.. show us what you can do for us as a Senator , show us your policies, issues and stands to better understand where you are politically.
Being black isnt the only reason to win..

2. Mitt Romney is ready to take America forward and to a more successful path.He is prepared SPIRITUALLY,ACCADEMICALLY,MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY to lead the country and the people. He is proven a successful leader with a proven record. He is enthusiastic and hard working with his love and desire to help people.I'm always reminded of the story about his willingness to close down his company for a day to help find a lost child of one of his co worker in the New York area,he organized the search that brought a successful and happy reunion for the father and his child. He's not only an intelligent leader but also a loving and caring family man and individual.

3. I agree KaM we need FAMILY VALUES and MORAL JUSTICE in the house...but are people really afraid of Morals and Family Values? Thats what it seems like to me...we've had so much deviation from what this nation was formed upon, we need to get back to our roots, Faith, Family, and the American way...I think Romney and Thompson both have the right idea, but Romney's heart is into it more....Wouldnt mind seeing a Romney/Thompson ticket in the next election

6. Trust Mitt Romney because he represents the opinions and values of the American people and his experience shows he can get the job done with high moral standards of the ordinary people of family and faith in God with truth and rightousness regardless of church organization or social movements of special interest groups.
