1. Why leave out Hillary?
She was for the war before she was against it.
She was for a troop surge before she was against it.
She said the troop surge seems to be working before
she said it doesn't seem to be (after moveon started
to reprimand her).
Now both her and O Bama are saying we need to stay
the course after both have been preaching we must
pull out now.
Seems if Kerry was shown to be dumb for saying he
was for the war before he was aginst it, shouldn't
that make him dumb and Hillary, Dumber.
Thats neat a real Dumb and Dumber story!

2. I refuse to comment on this subject because flip-flopping has the historical legitimacy of long-standing tradition in western culture. I think that Pocahontas was the first recorded American flip-flopper. In Rome, it was Brutus. In Spain it was ... , etc. So why criticize the flip-floppers? Do you prefer political leaders like Ahmadinejad better? He doesn't flip-flop at all.

3. Hi Martin,
Good to hear from you. Good point, flip flopping is maybe an inborn trait that can't be stopped unless you are psychotic like most dictators or a stubborn politician that won't give in. Bush and McKain are not popular at all anymore, they don't flip flop. Go figure.
Brings to mind an old Dylan song, " you don't need a weatherman to tell you which way the wind blows" The people know what's best right???????????????
Mission accomplished. Martin, one last thought for you, are illegal immigrants flip floppers or not?

4. It seems like all the flip flopper all are on the Rep side. As for Mrs. Clinton---She came out against the lies President Bush and Rep's told.

5. We as Americans are in a position to witness a great historic moment. In 2008 we could very well see either a woman or an African-American mail hold the highest office in the land, but as people who desire change from the polocies of our current administration who should we choose. Hilary seems to have alot of momentum, but I think that there is at least one problem with her getting the Democratic nomination and that is how she voted on the war. Sure she could claim that she was mislead about WMD's by the Bush Administration and we all could claim the same (it's true), but Obama also heard the President's misinformation and still voted against the war and still holds to the same position. Do we really want change? If so, I believe Obama is our best choice. Inexperienced, maybe, but He offers America a fresh chance to change the way we our percieved by the rest of the world.

6. To Dancerpl2: Wow, I must say, even as a fairly liberal person that you are waaaaay off base. The candidates on both sides of the fence, as the blogger clearly represents in his cartoon and blog post in general, have been flip-flopping. While this is not necessarilly a bad thing, it does point out that people can change their minds, and I tend to like that in a person in power, especially the president. I'm tired of the lies from the Bush administration. That shows you what happens when people refuse to "flip-flop" and I for one don't want another president who refuses to change his or her mind.

7. Once more for those who claim Hillary, Edwards, Kerry and ALL the Democrats who say Bush lied to get us to a war. You can stop using that worthless excuse for your backtracking...
If the American people were lied to ... they were clearly lied to by democrats.
Note the dates, and realize that these 'lies' were told when Bush was the govenor of Texas.
Maybe our liberals brothers can explain how a moron got the entire Clinton administration and walks like a man Hillary to repeat his lies ... even before he made them?
Clearly, liberalism is mental disease
"Saddam's goal ... is to achieve the lifting of U.N. sanctions while retaining and enhancing Iraq's weapons of mass destruction programs. We cannot, we must not and we will not let him succeed." -- Madeline Albright, 1998
"The community of nations may see more and more of the very kind of threat Iraq poses now: a rogue state with weapons of mass destruction, ready to use them or provide them to terrorists. If we fail to respond today, Saddam and all those who would follow in his footsteps will be emboldened tomorrow." -- Bill Clinton in 1998
"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members, though there is apparently no evidence of his involvement in the terrible events of September 11, 2001. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons. Should he succeed in that endeavor, he could alter the political and security landscape of the Middle East, which as we know all too well affects American security." -- Hillary Clinton, October 10, 2002
"I am absolutely convinced that there are weapons...I saw evidence back in 1998 when we would see the inspectors being barred from gaining entry into a warehouse for three hours with trucks rolling up and then moving those trucks out." -- Clinton's Secretary of Defense William Cohen in April of 2003
If you can get around these - then have at it.
