Poll Shows Obama's Lead Widening

A new poll indicates Barack Obama is widening his lead over John McCain. In the CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll, 53 percent of respondents say they are voting for Obama, with 45 percent backing McCain. Obama's eight-point lead is double his four-point lead in the last CNN poll, taken in mid-September.
