McCain Booed After Trying to Calm Crowd

Minnesota supporters boo their own candidate, Sen. John McCain, after he describes his opponent Barack Obama as a "decent person and a person that you do not have to be scared of as president of the United States." Over the last few days, crowd members at GOP rallies have targeted Obama with shouts of "traitor," "terrorist," "liar," and even "off with his head" -- comments that went unchallenged by McCain.

Panel Finds Palin Abused Power

The probe examined the dismissal of Walter Monegan, who says he lost his job because he resisted pressure to fire a state trooper involved in a bitter divorce with the governor's sister.

Oops! 'Barack Osama' on Absentee Ballot

Hundreds of voters in an upstate New York county are sent absentee ballots in which they could vote for "Barack Osama." Election officials in Rensselaer County say the goof is just a typo, not a malicious attempt to link the Democratic presidential nominee with the world's most wanted terrorist.
