Could Paris Hilton and Benji Madden face hit-and-run charges after Madden apparently ran over a paparazzo's foot with his car Thursday night?

On her new MTV show, 20 guys and gals will compete reality-style to find out who's can officially claim that 'Paris Hilton's My New BFF' -- or 'Best Friend Forever' for those not in the know.

Remember those pictures a few days ago of Paris Hilton walking around with someone looking like a Bhuddist monk? Ashton Kutcher set those up as a joke on the paparazzi for his new show.

If you thought Paris Hilton's weekend dinner date with a fu-manchu sporting guru was all a ruse, well, you were right. Members of the paparazzi ate it up, snapping photos that ended up in newspapers and news Web sites. One problem: the "guru" is an actor and the whole thing was set up by Ashton Kutcher.

If you thought that Benji Madden was the man in the middle of a nasty fight between two Hollywood blondes, think again -- his ex-fiance, Sophie Monk (right) says flat out that "Benji did not leave me for Paris Hilton."
