(Aug. 1) -- All that bad buzz you've been hearing about Tom Cruise's much-delayed Nazi movie 'Valkyrie' is hogwash, according to his co-star.
Bill Nighy defends the film, saying that the reason it got pushed back so significantly and so many times is because of production issues, not because it's terrible. "We just shot some extra scenes for it," Nighy, who plays German General Friedrich Olbricht, told MTV News.

"One of the reasons that the date was changed was in order to do the extra scenes, which they were always going to do if they felt [the film] warranted it. They've added some new stuff, and people are very excited about it."
'Valkyrie' is a story following Cruise's character, Nazi soldier Claus von Stauffenberg, as he tries to assassinate Adolf Hitler during the final years of World War II. After several pushbacks, it's now scheduled to be released on Feb. 13, 2009.
"It's Valentine's Day, so take your date to see a movie about killing Hitler," Nighy joked.
