'Indiana Jones' Leak Lawsuit Settled

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (Oct. 3) - The producers of the new "Indiana Jones" movie have settled a lawsuit against an actor accused of breaching a confidentiality agreement by revealing the film's plot in a newspaper interview.

A Superior Court order was filed Tuesday finding that Tyler Nelson knowingly violated the agreement that he signed when he was cast to appear in a scene of "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," said Lucasfilm Ltd. publicist Lynne Hale.

The agreement barred everyone involved in the film from publicly discussing it.

Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. An after-hours call to Nelson's talent agency was not immediately returned.

The fourth installment of the adventure series was directed by Steven Spielberg and stars Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett and Shia LaBeouf. It is due out in theaters next May.

Tyler revealed plot details during an interview last month with his hometown newspaper, Oklahoma's Edmond Sun, Daily Variety reported. That story has been removed from the newspaper's Web site.

"We ask every cast and crew member to sign a confidentiality agreement because we want to protect the movie's thrills and surprises for audiences," said Lynn Bartsch, Lucasfilm's director of business affairs.

A spokesman for Spielberg said he didn't know whether Nelson's scenes would be cut from the movie.

Meanwhile, several photographs and computers being used for the film have been stolen, said Kristin Stark, spokeswoman for DreamWorks Pictures SKG.

The stolen items contained "confidential and proprietary materials" related to the movie, Stark said. She did not say when or where the theft occurred.

Stark said DreamWorks had asked for a criminal investigation. Officials from local law enforcement agencies could not immediately confirm they were investigating, the Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday.

Spielberg's spokesman Marvin Levy said the director was worried thieves may try to sell the materials.

"We want to warn the media that anything that is offered is stolen property," Levy said. "We know it is out there."

The Crystal Skulls can not be duplicated even today - they have no tool marks or even polishing whirls - mystical? who knows - but a higher technology than we have, Maybe? Polished with water - can't be done, as water would round off all details and turn it into a oval - like rocks in a stream. Either way looking forward to a new INDY :)

have Absolutely No Idea how those things were created with ancient tools. It's at least as big a mystery as the pyramids.

You have to be kidding me....it has been proven time and again how pyramids were built, (and if aliens did it, why did they use stone...?)...crystal items can be and were carved with something modern humans have long lost-
patience and faith. Now THERE is a mystery!

I hate when people tell me the ending of movies or books. I want to be surprised. What would be the point to reading a book or going to a movie if I know what is going to happen. I think some people like to spoil it for other people. I feel sorry for these people they have no respect for other people or themselves. These are the friends you have in your life that you want to get rid of as soon as possible. They like to bring u down.

If they're speaking of the ages-old, very finely detailed and smoothly polished crystal skuls, then they could easily have been made by hand and polished via water rushing over them. Many very hard objects began as crude forms but were found polished incredibly smoothly, and usually by the action of water rushing over them for long periods of time. Now, whether a primitive artist made them or they were dropped from an alien spacecraft, I cannot say (yeah, right!), but they are interesting to behold... Rather like a Steuben Apple, which I prefer.

The Crystal skulls are *not* a crock. I don't know about communication, because I read about it in the '80's, but it IS proven true that we (as "future people" and scientists) have Absolutely No Idea how those things were created with ancient tools. It's at least as big a mystery as the pyramids. Look it up somewhere relyable online, please. Wikipedia, maybe (I haven't checked there myself. Just an idea.)

People aren't crackheads because they don't know the work of 2 separate, famous directors. He could just be reallllllllly out of touch. Or born that way. It happens; down with the hate!

Personally, I love Indy and I'm thrilled!
