Hef Wants Miley Cyrus for Playboy

(May 9) - Hugh Hefner wants Miley Cyrus to pose for Playboy.

TV Guide reports that the magazine magnate told Extra Cyrus would be perfect for a pictorial -- once she's of legal age, of course.

"I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed," Cyrus says of pictures that appear in the new issue of Vanity Fair.

Vanity Fair editors say "Miley's parents and/or minders were on the set all day. Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley. In fact, when Bruce Handy interviewed Miley, he asked her about the photo and she was very cheerful about it and thought it was perfectly fine."

Just last week, photos of Cyrus flashing her bra and pulling up her shirt while draped across the lap of a male furthered the speculation that the singer-actress sensation may be more PG-13 or R than G-rated.

Photos of Cyrus in provocative poses first leaked near the end of January to gossip sites like TopSocialite.com.

Says Hef: "Sure, she’d be welcomed in the magazine. Very pretty lady. And I think to make such a big to-do over something as innocent as those [Vanity Fair] photos, I think is a reflection on how schizophrenic America is about sexuality."

Cyrus is no stranger to photo controversy. In recent months, pictures of the 15-year-old "Hannah Montana" star in her underwear have surfaced on the Internet. And she recently received a lashing in the media for an alluring Vanity Fair spread that showed her in various racy poses.

WOW!! Heff has some gutts to ask that..but seriously i think that with all these picture scandals that when she is older she will want to do it..that is what i think...but knowing her she will do it and then say that she thought that it was artsy! ha she makes me laugh...what do u guys think??

i got alot of things to say about this. first of all, miley is said to be a christian. well if she poses for this magazine when she comes of age, thats not something a christian would do. and secondly, many girls from all over look up to her and if she poses for racy pictures and magazines, she's giving girls the wrong message and she's being a bad influence. and thirdly MILEY if you think this magazine cover will make you look beautiful, it wont! it will just give everyone the wrong message about you! and you'll lose fans (maybe) and if you want to be beautiful, you wouldnt pose for magazine like VANITY FAIR OR PLAYBOY you'll be beautiful just by being your self. sure you get money, but in this case, the money doesnt matter! what matters is your reputation and how people see you. if you pose for this..you will blow everything...and plus you will get fired from Hannah Montana if you are still doing the show in 3 years! the decision is yours...
