Paltrow Battled 'Back Fat' After Baby

(May 15) - Mother of two Gwyneth Paltrow looks as svelte as she did before giving birth to both of her children, Apple and Moses, but the 'Iron Man' actress says it wasn't easy.

"I put on 40 pounds with Moses. And I found it really hard to lose the last 20 pounds. I didn't mind having the big boobs. But it was the stomach roll, the back fat, and the post-pregnant butt. And it was so hard to get rid of," the actress tells V magazine, PEOPLE reports.

The Oscar winner says her weight loss diet consists of "organic, seasonal food that isn't processed."

Report This! Our bodies should not be our main focus. It is what kind of person we are and how we live our lives. When you are 75, no one remembers what kind of body you had, but they do remember who you are.

You are SOOOOO right diane!! All of us need to focus more on inner beauty. Our souls are who we really are. The rest of us will decay with age. So we need to remember what is really important and not be vain. All we need to make sure of is that we're at a weight that we're healthy. And that would be not fat or skinny. Just keep fit.

That's messed up, dude. I happen to be very large in the chest area, but my band size is the SMALLEST you can buy in most stores. 32DD? Yeah. I don't need to shed a few pounds. My stomach is flat. It wouldn't do any good to my chest, anyway. So quit generalizing. I feel fine, I LOOK fine, and I spent a great deal of time feeling quite self-conscious about my chest and the attention it received because of jerks like you. Do everyone a favor and SHUT UP.

you dont need to be skinny to look good. if you dress in something that looks good on you it helps. who watches what not to wear? i personally am skinny

romanjockmco, I've noticed that too! I'm not saying all fat guys are ugly, but there are quite a few who need to be more... realistic when it comes to women. Someone who works hard to maintain fitness doesn't want a fattie who sits around eating chips all day. That's just how the world works.

syncro100, what makes you think weight has anything to do with breast size? I've known my share of obese women with B cups, and I've known some slender women with naturally large breasts. Skinny women do not necessarily have small breasts, and larger women do not necessarily have big breasts.

But, as many posters below me have said, all this focus on weight is unhealthy. Eat properly, get some physical activity in on a daily basis, and concentrate on being healthy, not skinny.

If I consider me as an example it is possible to be slimmer after a third baby IF you control your appetite. No cakes and pastries no urges to indulge in non=nutritional foods. I did because my doctor would throw me out of his office anytime I put on non=acceptable weight. It works. No flabs, tummy flat in a week etc.

Hollywood stars are too skinny. Too the 12yr old on here who is becoming bulemic. Dont do it. I became that way when I was 16 and now I am almost 40. If you are worried about your weight, eat sensibly and exercise, dont destroy your body and mess up your mind.
