Pfeiffer Possibly Set for 'Grease' Remake

(Oct. 30) - According to the Daily Express via This Is Nottingham, Michelle Pfeiffer wants to appear in a remake of 'Grease' as Rydell High's principle.

"She is fun and has some great put-down lines. I think I'd like the part now I have been asked," the actress is quoted as saying.

Pfeiffer, who starred in the musical's sequel, also puts her two cents in on the movie's possible leading lady.

"I hear they like Jessica Simpson for the role of Sandy - she would be good."

But just because she wants to do a new version of 'Grease' doesn't mean she has fond memories of her own turn in 'Grease 2.'

"I hated that film with a vengeance and could not believe how bad it was," she laughed. "At the time I was young and didn't know any better. I hear it's a cult film now."

Wow, I REALLY hope she was misquoted. Especially about saying Jessica Simpson would be good for Sandy. Just because Jessica is blonde, beautiful, and a good singer does not make her an actress. Don't reamake Grease: if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
