(Sept. 23) - Salma Hayek has given birth to a baby girl, Valentina Paloma Pinault, her publicist announced Friday.

"Mother and child are doing well," publicist Cari Ross said in a statement. No other details were released.

The 'Fool's Gold' actor and his model girlfriend become first-time parents with the birth of their new son. In January, McConaughey said he and Alves were "stoked and wowed by this miracle of creation."

The Mexico-born actress, 41, is engaged to businessman Francois-Henri Pinault.

Hayek has starred in films such as "Frida," "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over" and "After the Sunset." She is one of the executive producers of ABC's "Ugly Betty" and the chief executive of Ventanazul, a production company she formed with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc.

Pinault, 45, is the chief executive officer of the luxury goods company PPR SA, which owns high-end labels such as Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Puma.

as far as jamsmi174 is concerned, as they say at the zoo, please do not feed the animals. in other words, ignore her. she's too ignorant to know the difference between hispanics and african-americans. sadly she's just another example of the deteriorating public school system in the U.S.

salma is a beautiful, vibrant, talented woman. although i've seen the father, i'm sure the baby is gorgeous.
