(Dec. 27) - Now that Jamie Lynn Spears has joined older sister Britney in tabloid headlines, the finger of blame for the girls' behavior is being pointed directly at their mother Lynne.

"Jamie wanted something different for her life, and her mom put her in situations she didn't want to be in," Alexa Nikolas, Spears' 'Zoey 101' costar, told Us Weekly.

Lynn Spears, center, is being blamed for the behavior of her daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn. One critic told Us Weekly magazine that part of the problem is that Lynne "treats her girls like a piggy bank."

According to sources close to the Spears family, Lynne, who also serves as the girls' manager, "treats her girls like a piggy bank."

"Lynne got all her money through those girls and loved it when it started rolling in," a source told the magazine. "She's the only one with a Land Rover in Kentwood."

These accusations come just days after talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw told PEOPLE magazine, "An asset that Britney and Jamie Lynn both have is a great and dedicated mother."
