Anderson Saves Seals, Then Strips in Paris

PARIS (Feb. 15) - Most visitors to the City of Lights spend some time in the Louvre or sailing down the Seine on a tour boat. But most tourists aren't Pamela Anderson.

Anderson had a busy schedule while spending Valentine's Day in Paris, winning raves for her strip show and getting active in the name of animal rights.

Anderson was Paris to perform a burlesque striptease at the Le Crazy Horse cabaret to the tune of 'Harley Davidson', a song written by Serge Gainsbourg and sung by legendary French sex symbol Brigitte Bardot in the late 60s.

Sources from inside the club tell PEOPLE that Anderson didn't disappoint. "She was great," gushed one observer who caught an eyeful at the first of her one-night only performances. "She was totally into it. It was impressive. And the crowd responded very warmly."

Bardot, 73, wished Anderson luck via speakerphone from her home in the southern resort city of St. Tropez. She also sent Anderson flowers.

Anderson wasn't just taken with Bardot's song. While in Paris, she also raised awareness for a cause close to both of their hearts: the protection of baby seals.

Anderson said she would deliver a letter from Bardot to the Canadian ambassador to France urging him to stop seal hunting around the Arctic."It sickens me not just as a Canadian but as a human being," the 40-year-old actress told a room crammed with photographers shouting for her attention at Bardot's animal rights foundation.

Anderson also called on fashion designers and consumers to boycott pelts and seal products, which Canada defend as a traditional source of trade that helps balance the ecosystem.

"The hunt was dead for 20 years, and has been revived not to honor local customs or conserve cod stocks but because new markets for fur have opened up in Russia and China," she said.

Anderson played a short video that showed hunters yelling before clubbing seals and dragging bloodied bodies across the ice while a woman sobbed on the soundtrack.

Pam is Such a joke,She's a used up Cum Burpin Road ***** who needs to be amongst the Hollywood Overdoses.Thats just my opinion!Shes never done anything,until now as a publicity stunt to take the public eye off of her RIDICULOUS marraige.

There seems to be an increasing lack of respect for the right of other life forms to live, when this reaches an apex possibly GOD will intervene and remind all humans
to live and let live in a horrific way, epedimic, volcanos, earthquakes etc.

Any way to bring the cruel way we treat animals into the public light is good. Support any of the many organizations dedicated to changing animal rights. Making laws tougher and realzing animals have rights is a start.

HELP TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO STAND UP TO USELESS ANIMAL CRUELTY. THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE A CHANGE IS TO START SOMEWHERE. THE HUMANE SOCIETY IS THAT PLACE.
