When the husband cheats it is because he is a no good, worthless, lying, etc., but when the wife cheats it is the husband's fault because the marriage became stale, he was working too much, etc. Isn't this a double standard? Poor Christie was chaeting on Billy Joel, but that is OK, but Peter Cook is no good because he did what she did? It used to be that women who had sex with many men were called ******, but now they have a "HEALTHY APPETITE FOR SEX", but men who like lots of sex are "BAD"?

mcternm, it's always the woman's fault for picking the wrong man because the women usually end up leaving the wrong men, so it's therefore more out in the open, their mistake.On the other hand, men who pick wrong women STAY in their loveless, useless, marriages and cheat instead of divorcing. That way they're sure to #1, never be alone, #2, not worry about having to pay spousal support, #3, can fan their insecurities with meaningless sexual relations, and #4, never face reality and exposure to the open for all to see like women will.Given that, I'd rather be a woman and be honest with myself. I definitely would sleep better.

Why is it always the woman's fault for "picking" the wrong man? Could it just be that he is an ass and treated her badly after he pretended to be something different before marriage? People do fake who they are to get someone to love them. Or maybe they actually believe they are that great person they are pretending to be!!!!!!!! How would she know???!!!! Porn? 17 year old girls??!! And SHE needs to look at who she is picking? How about the simple explaination of him being a horny ass.?? Problem solved. Move on.

Brinkley needs to realize that Karma can be hell! She not only screwed Billy Joel to to the wall, but if I remember, several years ago she met and later married a Colorado Rancher only to divorce him when he couldn't afford to keep her in the comforts she was use to having.

this woman wanted her divorce in court to be public. Four times married iis a bit much. She needs as much help as her husband. I feel for the children. I think Christy enjoys the publicity and would like to be in the news and a celebrity. This is certainly the wrong way to do it,and come out of this mess with a good image. I feel sorry for the children.

Give her a few weeks... and she'll be on to the next one... with absolutely NO idea what she is doing wrong. Here's a perfect example of how beauty can be a curse -- so beautiful on the outside, so empty on the inside -- it appears she has never thought of working on the person within, rather than focus on the outside.

ChristieYou did the SAME thing to Billy Joel...while married to Billy, you were involved in a helicopter crash and chose the man in the crash, TAeulbam (something like that, I'm sure you have forgotten too) over your husband, Billy. Soon you became knocked up with the other man's child and marreid him, only to find that he scammed you for over a million dollars and you quickly got a divorce, the father of the child gave up custody to Peter Cook. I don't know why Billy Joel is now your firend after how you humiliated him but girl, you are one screwed -up chick. Please don't get married again or even date, Billy Joel is the only man who ever loved you and he's long over you so ....bye-bye glamour queen
