I stopped because it was about the popularity not the actual talent! Michael Johns and Carly should still be there and Jason should have been long gone! I'm done watching also!

The reason AI has lost so many viewers started immediately after Miichael Johns was "voted off"---even people who didn't vote for him wrote in about that one-what a fix! It is no longer about talent-look who is left-that says it all. It has been losing more and more viewers every week as the talented singers get voted off and the lesser ones continue to stay.. It has turned into just another "fake" reality show and the viewers have finally wised up.

Do they really judge the contestants based upon the dress rehearsal? Must be why Paula was reading her comments from performance 2 before it was performed!

The money they raise on Idol gives back does go to charities here in the U.S also. I think Idol would do better if they promoted their own idols of the past on their show more. So people can see how successful it has been for the kids that have been on the show in the past. Even if they have not won its been good to them. If they charged for all the phone calls and gave that money to charity that would be cool also. They get 36 million votes wow. This group of kids is more taleted then last years. But some don't seem to have the personalities. So win David Cook they need a huge star, that will sell like Daughtry. Go David

Reason that the show is loosing viewers are the long drawn out commercial breaks. Bad enough everybody drinks coke and drives Fords, then you have the Fords music video and endless commercial breaks. The result show used to be half hour but because of the writers strike and lacking new shows FOX decided to make this a one hour event. I Tivo the show and then fast forward. 15 mins of program :)

I don't care what you guys are saying, It is not the ones who sing.its what they give them to sing. What happened to singing what they are good at.AS for as simon goes he is the same Randy has changed more. I am 51 and think David A is hot. He could date my Granddaughter she has God on her side to.She is 17.Don,t get me wrong I love Simon that is why i watch it.He tells it like it is.
