Actor Nick Nolte escaped a fire that burned his Malibu home to the ground earlier today. Nolte suffered "minor smoke inhalation" after attempting to fight the fire himself, US reports. An electrical malfunction started the blaze in his bedroom and caused an estimated $3.5 million in damage and left the home a total loss.
