Three teenagers are arrested in connection with a deadly house fire in southwestern England that started when a lit firecracker was thrust through a letter slot. British media report that Mary Fox, 59, perished in the blaze after helping her son to safety. A neighbor says the suspects were laughing and jeering as they watched the house burn.

A 24-year-old Texas woman is facing charges after she allegedly faked breast cancer in order to raise money to get breast implants. Investigators say Trista Lathern even shaved her head to make it look like she was going through chemotherapy, but she wasn't sick at all. At least $10,000 was collected at a benefit for Lathern.
