Pat Bond, who has received some child support from the church, says she is tired of begging the church for help caring for her son. Employee misconduct, including workers surfing Internet porn, ate up time and money at a taxpayer-funded science agency last year, according to a report by The Washington Times. The newspaper reports that one senior official spent 331 full days surfing porn on the job before he was caught -- at a cost to taxpayers of up to $58,000.

Jenny Sanford, the wife of embattled South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, lands a book deal with a major New York publishing house. Described as an "inspirational memoir," the book will recount the difficult period in her life when she first learned of her husband's affair with an Argentine woman. The memoir is due out in May of 2010.

A man who previously claimed he fathered the daughter of John Edwards' mistress, right, now says in a book proposal that the former senator is the baby's dad. Andrew Young says Edwards pleaded with him to claim paternity, according to a report in The New York Times. The newspaper also reported that Edwards is considering whether to admit his alleged paternity publicly.
