Employee misconduct, including workers surfing Internet porn, ate up time and money at a taxpayer-funded science agency last year, according to a report by The Washington Times. The newspaper reports that one senior official spent 331 full days surfing porn on the job before he was caught -- at a cost to taxpayers of up to $58,000.

Jenny Sanford, the wife of embattled South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, lands a book deal with a major New York publishing house. Described as an "inspirational memoir," the book will recount the difficult period in her life when she first learned of her husband's affair with an Argentine woman. The memoir is due out in May of 2010.
