'Falcon' Nets More Than 35,000 Fugitives

A coast-to-coast roundup of violent criminals snags more than 35,000 fugitives. "Operation Falcon" has been conducted annually since 2005, and has resulted in more than 91,000 arrests. This year, the score includes about 430 people wanted for murder, about 900 suspected gang members and about 2,350 suspected sex offenders.

Police in New York City are searching for a 46-year-old cleaning woman who vanished while working inside a building near ground zero on Tuesday. Security cameras, which are positioned throughout the building, captured Eridania Rodriguez during her shift but none showed her leaving.

Turtles Take Over Airport Runway

Make way for turtles! Officials say a runway at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport was shut down temporarily when at least 78 turtles emerged from a nearby bay and crawled onto the tarmac. Flight delays of up to 1 1/2 hours ensued before the reptiles were removed from the runway.
