Who Won't Americans Vote For?
Apparently 37% of Americans refuse to vote for a Mormon. (Presidential candidate Mitt Romney shares the faith of the Osmond and Marriott families.) Other polls purport to show voters' resistance to a black presidential candidate and a woman commander-in-chief. Polls asking for whom an American will vote are obviously a thing of the past.

1. Moe,
Can you be anymore general? I think I'm going to open up a poll myself. Your only choice will be Scooter Libby. That's right I'm running my poll Saddam style. Compute that margin of error.

True Americans won't put an almost new-to-politics and inexperienced Senator in the Chair of Commander in Chief--during a time when terrorist threats on American soil is real and imminent. They'll encourage him to be patient and gain more experience. A true American presidential candidate will will wait until he has the appropriate experience before running for office, especially during perilous times. Such a candidate would never dream of putting America's best interest at risk during such a time by filling the country's highest office with someone requiring OJT (On the Job Training)

6. On the mormon issue, I would rather see how a person acts as a result of their faith than demgogue the faith that is absent the person.

7. There was a major prophet of God named Samuel during early biblical days that was up for headmaster of Israel but he had a couple of wayward sons that gave him a bad name by association. So, when asked who the people preferred , they acclaimed Saul the tall, confident soldier as king over them rather than the rule of a godly prophet with bad kids. Well, bad choice. Saul was a tyrant. But the people desired a king and a king they got. What shall it be America? A godly man, who has a couple of felonious progeny or a dominating king that will take the country to perdition in a heartbeat. I ask you?

9. I have known from the start that Barak Obama and Hillary Clinton could never be elected. Its not the way that I think but what I know too many people believe. That John F. Kennedy won the election in 1960 was a miracle because so many people were so anti-Catholic. Unfortunately, for Mitt Rommney, there are not as many Mormons in the U.S. as Catholics. I don't know what Mr. Rommney's political views are but since I am a life long Democrat I could not vote for a Republican, no matter what his religion is.

10. Isn't the character of the man important these days? We have a Muslim running for president without too much talk and then we have outrage at a Mormon. We are at war with a Muslim nation. Are we at war with the Mormons? Get a grip folks - vote on the character of the man - not what church he attends. I would love to have a man with a moral conscious in the White House.

12. Americans pretend to be gender and race blind! I truly believe that we will never move from the theoretical jargon of saying all men and women are created equal and have the same rights to the reality of applying the sentiment! Afterall, remember who wrote this ideal as we were founding our country...middle-aged, rich, white men! Who do you really think will be our next president?

13. Who cares black, white, whatever... we say that color doesnt matter... well this proves that it does. Get over it, who cares if they are good at what they do, why should it matter? I will paint my body black, will you judge me any different or just look at me funny? Who cares, if they are black, white, or whatever let them do their job if they can do it well.
