The Young Turks is the morning drive show for Air America Radio. We were the first ever talk show for Sirius Satellite Radio before we moved to XM and Air America . We also started the first ever live, daily internet TV show, which you can see 24 hours a day on our website: www.theyoungturks.com.
The Young Turks are not just the hosts of the radio show, we are a whole team. Cenk Uygur and Ben Mankiewicz host the show on Air America. Jill Pike has been with TYT since the beginning, hosting, producing and creating content. "Who Shot" Jayar Jackson is our producer, "Rock and Roll" Jesus Godoy is our director, Dave Koller is our Executive Producer and "Bitter Movie Critic." Michael Shure is our political correspondent and frequent guest host. Wes Clark, Jr. is also one of our favorite guest hosts (yes, his dad is General Wesley Clark; but more importantly, he is one of the best screenwriters working in LA).
Everyone working on the show participates on our site. We all blog on TYT, we have clips from the show, written pieces and viewer forums and blogs as well. And every once in awhile we go out and do segments out on location is Los Angeles, like this one.
Cenk, Ben and Jill will be blogging here on AOL. We will bring you video clips from the show and our written pieces. Cenk has been a regular contributor to Huffington Post since its inception and also blogs at Daily Kos, Smirking Chimp and many other friendly sites. Ben also works as the host of Turner Classic Movies on the weekends.
We are considered liberal these days, but if you watch our show you will find in fact that it is pretty centrist (that's another way of saying we find a way to piss everyone off). We also keep the show and our site fun. The Young Turks covers pop culture as well as politics. Cenk and Jill are also working on an entertainment show on the site. Lots to read, watch and discover at TYT.
We're very happy to be working with the good people at AOL. See, liberals believe in big corporations and making money, too! I hope it doesn't sound too corny, but we are looking forward to meeting all of you and having a new set of friends to share our experiences with. Oh well, it definitely sounded corny.

1. the big problem here is that there isn't a woman. What is it with men? You are so bloody threatened that you can't think of including a woman, unless you need to have sex? Yes, then woman are on your radar other than that woman are invisible. Shame on all of you. I'll blog for you and I'll bet dollars to donuts I'll bring in bigger numbers than your boys.

2. Hey, nimrod. Did you even read the description above? One of the participants is a WOMAN named Jill. Get off the feminist horse - we're way past that and your over-confidence is not appealing...its offputting.
