205. So, I would just like to say a few words about this. First of all, I am very surprised that anyone is wasting their time on this subject. What difference does it make? Honestly. So Ann Coulter used the word faggot and just so happened to use it in describing John Edwards. First of all, the definition of the word faggot has nothing to do with homosexuals. The Webster's dictionary says (and I quote), "faggot- 1. a bundle of sticks, twigs, or branches, esp. for use as fuel 2. Metallurgy a bundle or heap of iron or steel pieces to be worked into bars by hammering or rolling at welding temperatures." Now you tell me how on earth that has anything to do with homosexuals.

Second, comparing homosexuals to african-americans or hispanics is like comparing apples and oranges. Homosexuals are not a RACE. They are people that for whatever reason are attracted to people of the same sex in a lustful way.

Thirdly, while John Edwards might not be the greatest or worst guy in the universe, he certainly doesnt seem like a man of integrity to me. Considering he can't take responsibility for his actions. For instance, he recently apologized for voting for the war in Iraq. Now why do you think he did that? Cuase he knew that he would get very few democratic votes if he did. Is that being a man of honesty and integrity? Going back on something simply because you want more votes? I think not.

Also, those of you who ARE homosexuals are taking this way too personally. Get some thick skin! Who CARES? Honestly? Why are you making such a big deal about this? Are you so insecure about yourself that you have to lower yourself to such base, vile criticism of someone whose comments really shouldnt make that much of a difference? If it IS insecurity, then perhaps you should think twice about who you really are. If it's not, then what is it? Get a little thick skin! The world is not going to cater to you or anybody else just because you are of a certain whatever. And I say this not just to homosexuals but to everyone: the world isn't rosies and posies. People are gonna say rude things to you. Get over it. Don't take it so personally. The answer isn't to go whining about it. Just deal with it.
