1. I think that having a kid post this sort of thing on youtube shows a much more disturbing societal problem than uncontrolled hormonal urges. these videos are basically girls showing that they feel their value comes from their bodies as sexual objects and that they can allow anyone access to their sexuality as long as it makes them popular or sexually desireable. In reality it just diminishes everything about them.

2. I think that girls who post this senseless retardation on the internet has teen sex anyway, so if you prevent her from posting those things on the internet, she won't be popular enough to have teen sex [in her opinion]

3. I'm a teenage girl myself, and I can't see either me or my friends doing this. I mean, we've talked tons of times about how degrading this sort of stuff is, and how if it gets out (and you KNOW it will), you'll have no reputation left. Most of the guys I know, too, think that stuff like this is stupid. If girls are trying to get guys (decent guys) to like them, this is not the way to do it. The nice guys I know wouldn't go out with a girl like this, they'd avoid her. And sure, there are some pathetic guys I know (you know, the greasy-haired guys who think they're sexy but really most girls try to avoid)may be interested, but is that really the kind of guy you WANT attracted to you?

4. Parents should be concerned with both issues. That said, if a teenager is going to have sex, then parents should educate them on how to have sex responsibly. The videos are worse. They are exhibitionist and narcissistic and aren't reflective of a healthy self image. Plus, there is the obvious concern with on-line predators.

5. i am a teenage girl and i think that there is NOTHING wrong with those girls. they are only dancing and so what if they are having teen sex i mean who doesnt at least they are making these videos in stead of actually going out and doing it anyway people need to mind there own business and "online predators" well if your teen is stupid enough to mess around like that then they probably deserve it.

6. trica,
How do you know that they "aren't going out and doing it". These videos reflect a mentality that is more likely to lead to promiscuous sexual behavior. BTW, parents most definintely need to mind the business of their underage children. They need to educate them so they have the right understanding to make proper and mature decisions about their sexuality.

7. either way its wrong. but most kids are likely to experiment and in both instances the girls will probably regret it later in life. If they shoot this video, yeah, some boys will like it, but most boys wont because theyve already gotten everything they wanted. And the girls will talk behind your back about what a slut u are. Most girls end up having sex before their teenage years are over. But at least with that their not putting up on the internet for millions to see. With that, you might as well have been having sex. And i hope those girls are prepared for all of the old pedophiles that could possibly approach them. I think we should combat this so girls do not feel they have to do this to get boys to like them. But also, this is a double standard. Why aren't we talking about boys having sex because we all know its more likely to happen. i think that that is the worst thing that it is okay for boys to have sex but not girls.

8. im a 16 year old guy. and yeah, i dont complain if i see a gyrating butt...if you know what i mean. but any girl i might see doing it is not one id talk to. girls doing this kinda stuff dont attract any guys that will respect them. if you feel you need to expse yourself then do it, but do it knowing that you dont get any respect from good people. maybe your a pretty girl, maybe your not. but putting yourself out there like this isnt the best way to go about getting a dude unless you want one that only likes you for your body. you can still wear clothes and act normal, you dont have to gyrate your butt for us. sure be a little promiscuous, but that doesnt mean throw off your clothes at the drop of a hat. respect yourself.

9. I think the videos are a bit wrong. I'm a teenage boy and i honestly think that posting those types of videos isn't right. Ill admit I watch porn, and this is basically just softcore porn. These girls need to realize that when they post it, theres probly a line of perverts between the ages of 12 and a billion staring at them and this just makes the problem of predators even worse because when they post this it gives people instant access to talk to them. As far as teenage sex goes, I feel that its going to happen and all parents can do is make sure the kids know how to protect themselves. Teens are teens and we're gonna have sex whether you're comfortable and accepting of it or not. So please, just save your kids the feelings like they've done something wrong and your eyes and tell them you're comfortable with their choices as long as they stay safe.

10. I think it's a little bit stupid, but let's be honest, this isn't exactly an epidemic. Most of the people that do this on the internet do it while they're dancing in normal situations, and from what i've seen of people, that's the way 98% of teenagers dance. I agree with the people saying that it's more strange then anything else, but it's not like any of this is a new thing, everyone seems to be treating it like they aren't wearing anything and they're doing terrible things that no one in their right mind would do...well..most people are acting that way anyway.

11. Many of the people commenting are failing to answer the question in the poll. The question isn't which is worst or what you think about the girls but which should parents be more concerned about?
If I was a parent, I believe I would be more concerned about posting videos on the internet.
Sex is a completely natural thing and at some point in their lives, most people are going to do it. Also, when most teens have sex, they understand it's a serious thing and give at least some thought.
As for posting videos online, most people do it just for the fun of it, not really giving it a serious thought at all. Posted online, anyone could see them, including sick, online predators. In the end, not only is it dangerous, it is embarassing for the daughter also for the parent.

12. Generally people need to stop worrying about stuff like this. It's called dancing. You can see worse on a late night show on hbo or something. The internet is to the zenith with porn so why should we nadir ourselves to discuss this issue. People are pushing for it to be legal to have sex with underage children . That topic is very deplorable and worth the time to discuss. Maybe some can not contend with the fact that dancing is different than sex. I mean lets look at it, Sex or Dancing...
Seriously, The girl has clothing on. It is not as if she stripped infront of the camera and let youtube bare witness to her body. Some people need to get a life and quit subjecting themselves to incoherent problems

13. Teenagers are screaming for attention - haven't they always been? (Well, since we had child labor laws at least)
Notice me! Pick me! I'm special.
What sells? Sex sells. Notice me! Pick me!
I think the videos scream I am unsure of myself. I need attention to validate me. Nothing I am doing causes you to notice me, but this. I see how sex attracts attention, I'll do it for myself.

15. I just want to clarify something. I find nothing wrong with posting a video of yourself dancing to music on youtube. For that matter, I don't have a problem with fully mature adults posting nude or pornographic material of themselves on the web. Suffice it to say, I don't agree with these comparisons. An underage teenager posting a video of themselves on youtube shaking their stuff in a lurid way is not normal or healthy. Its behavior that should be discouraged by responsible parents.
