He's a sometime judge on Iron Chef and was featured on Telemundo's Amore Descarado. Last year he starred on Broadway in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Well he does, he is there for those of us who can't be pinned down to labels like "liberal" or "conservative", you know like we are the ones who actually elect candidates. 20. Im all for Rudy. Yeah maybe his personal life isnt perfect , but lets be real . At least he was honest with himself about it , he got divorced and started over . Unlike most politicians who stay married , for the image , but turn around and cheat the whole time .. He proved to us during 9/11 that he can make good decisions when faced with a diffficult situations . I like him and will vote for him , and for the haters , that is what makes this country so great . Dont vote for him . That may friends is what freedom is , the right to choose ...

21. Am I the only person that remembers the dislike and almost hatred a lot of New Yorkers had for him pre-911? There were police brutality scandals upon which he backed the department even after the truth was revealed. He did nothing after 911 that any standing mayor wouldn't have done. Great PR for a below average Mayor. People are clueless.

25. As for personal life.....
As long as he does not have a criminal record, or is a pathalogical liar, etc etc.
I do not care how many wives or live in's he has had. I do not care if his kid's hate his guts.
I want to know what he stands for and what he can/will do for this country.
Immigration - I want the toughest of stances.
Iraq - I want our troops to be able to pull out with dignity knowing they did all they could.
Economy - I want the defecit reduced/eradicated.
Trade - I want this slanted in OUR favor for a change.
Politicians - I want held to the highest of standards in their work ethic.
Global Warming - Again, I want the toughest of stances.
Taxes - I want taxes paid by taxpayers going to
help legals
Social Security - for legals only.
Does anyone out there know who the paragon might be, so that I can vote for them??????

26. Well I like Rudy just because he's flawed like the rest of us. However, he had a lot of help following 9/11. I don't really know what he personally achieved other than a very visable publice presence that showed leadership. But what did he actually do other than that? I would like to know before I would want him to be in charge of the USA - especially when I see that some New Yorkers seem to think that he wasn't even a good Mayor.

28. Well, so far I am for Rudy unless there is a better choice for me. As far as the comments about his divorce or personal life - Look at Hilary. She's the sucker that stayed with her slime of a husband after what he did to her and their family. I doubt her and Bill can even be in the same room with each other these days... Yet she'll stay married. It hurts her image. It shows she is a weak person who can stand for her and her family to be dragged through the mud. How can she stand up to terrorism if she cannot stand up to her own husband? She's too weak for this Country to stand beside!
