Paul Mirengoff makes more excuses for the incompetent George W. Bush in his last post. Well, Al Qaeda's only hit almost all of our allies like Great Britain, Spain, Turkey, Indonesia, etc., etc. So, they're no big deal. Let's just let them go.
And what's Bush's big accomplishment according to Mirengoff? He only allowed one Pearl Harbor like attack on his watch. Wow, that's his big accomplishment?
Are we supposed to thank him that there weren't two catastrophic strikes against us during his administration, just one. I'm sorry I forgot to write him a thank you note.
Hey Paul, you ever hear about a thing called justice? Osama bin Laden killed nearly 3,000 Americans! And he is still free. We never brought him to justice. Are you okay with letting him get away with September 11th?
The man you adore so much, your beloved president, has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to get him. He has let him wander around, making rap videos for the last five and a half years. He killed our citizens and he's laughing his ass off. And what has your beloved administration, which you cherish so much and pray to everyday, done about it? NOTHING!!!What happened, I thought you tough-guy conservatives were all about killing our enemies? How about enemy #1?!
And you still sit there and make excuses for their incompetence. You wonder why I think you guys are hopeless authoritarian suck-ups.
The Young Turks
PS -- I tried to have real debate with you on the earlier topic and you couldn't bring yourself to address the real issues. Instead, you wrote some juvenile responses that were full of nothing but senseless name calling.
And you have acted like a three year old ever since -- mimicking everything I say but saying the opposite (kind of like what Bush did with Clinton's competent policies), so I no longer care at all what you say because I realize your objective is not to get at what makes sense but to play child's games with politics. You think your side will "win" if you can get a real good zinger in. This is about the real world where our actions have real consequences. US policy isn't about silly games.
As you can see from this piece by Seymour Hersh, this administration has now begun to fund group's with Al Qaeda connections in the Middle East. While you're busy kissing up to them, the vice-president's office is busy screwing up the world and helping our enemies. If you cared about this country at all, you would give a damn about that. Instead, you play patty cakes with Hinderaker and think you're being clever. Politics isn't a game. There are real lives on the line and we have to get it right before we do more damage to our national interests, our troops and the world.

2. Cenk, A-frickin'-men! Arguing with conservatives no longer amuses me, precisely for the reason you cite, there are real people being harmed, killed, and this is not a game.
