Black Online Activists Ask Black Leaders To Freeze Out Fox New Channel
Black bloggers and ColorofChange.org are asking the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Institute to officially freeze out Fox News Channel (FNC) from their upcoming presidential debates. They say FNC routinely discriminates against people of color and the network should not be legitimized as a real news outlet.
"No network that calls Black churches a cult, implies that Senator Barack Obama is a terrorist, and uses the solemn occasion of Coretta Scott King's funeral to call Black leaders 'racist' should be given a stamp of approval by the CBC Institute," said James Rucker, head of ColorofChange.org.
The video above is a compilation of Fox clips put together by Robert Greenwald at Brave New Films. It's called "Fox Attacks: Black America." You can find out more at www.FoxAttacks.com.

31. Wayne internalizes - "What do the black leader have to hide, just the truth. It appears that if you don't agree with them then you are a bigot. "
Let's see - so far today we have one poster quoting David Duke, another telling us how slaves were happy, and Bob here trying to tell us po' black folks that all we need to be sucessful is to accept Massa...
And you wonder why discussions on race go nowhere in this country?
First - 80% of the black folks in this country are not poor. Indeed, they are mostly working middle class, and according to statistics released by the Dimwit's administration over 57% own their own homes. So when an unmitigated racist ass like Bob comes in with "what black folks should do" based on the issues of the poorest segment of the community ...
It really reaches the absurd.

32. And all of that misses the point of who appointed Color of Change Org as "leaders"?
They appear to be a grass roots organization to me, in the model of Moveon.org...
Oh I forgot! In conservative America only white folks can have different political organizations!
Everyone else must have a designated person (AKA "Leader") to talk to!

33. If someone doesn't like what they hear, see or read they have every right to disagree. It is their inalienable right. If a non-white group wants to freeze out Fox, let them. This will in no way discourage me from watching Fox news.
For the record. Fox does not put people in a bad light. It's the actions of people that put them in a bad light. As the saying goes, the truth hurts.
I would definitely not like to see my faults in print. However, it is those people who refuse to take responsibility for their actions that scream the loudest. What comes out of them can only be described as crap. As the saying goes," bullshit baffles brain power".
I could continue to pile it on. I could say those who disagree with me are racists and a threat to the freedom of this great country. I believe those who are the greatest threat to freedom of speech are those who cry the loudest about how they are portrayed by the media in a bad light. Left up to them they would censor any negative information about their group.
Again, the blame lies with the rest of the world. These people will go to their graves believing white people are responsible for all their problems. That is what I would call being self absorbed. They haven't realized they are not that important.
Isn't it time we had a White History Month.

35. I have heard Fox news talk about Obama and it has been favorable. Just because a person over color goes on a news show, dosen't give them right to say anything they want and not go unchallenged when they say something thats not true. I have watched CNN and other news channels and they interview guests and don't challenge what they say, even when it's not true. Once again an organization has spliced film clips together to try to prove a point that is false.

36. With an administration that has underreported casualties for 4 years in Iraq by half...
And you really want to talk about "censorship"?
(Guffaws!)
Faux News is racist in content, function, and purpose. I mean, other than the usual cadre of black stooges hired as "notable buffoons"...
What reason would an intlligent black person have to go on Faux?
You reap what you sow, wingdizzies.
Here is Faux attacking Obama's Church (and Oprah) with paid Uncle toms Jesse Lee Peterson and soembody from "BOND"...
Which only has 1 black member - Jesse Lee...

39. I'm not Black but I agree that Mr. Murdock's propaganda machine should be eliminated from our AIPAC/multi-national corporate/New World Order/one-party system "debate." I know all about the "leading candidates/actors" portrayed as presidential hopefuls for the 2008 election. Let Ex-President Carter, Ex-Congresswoman McKinney, Ralph Nader, Senator Hagel, Congressman Paul, or Congressman Kucinich participate in an open debate which I and the rest of America can watch. We don't want Sean Hannity or Bill O'Reilly as moderators either. Has Diebold engineered a computer election software program for those results? We know the answer. Do you?

42. My birth certificate states that I am a "Negro". It does say that I am Black, or an African American, and I was born in Birmingham, Alabama before integration.
With this said, I have no problem with Fox News participating in any Political Debate. All of the other "Negroes" that I know agree with me.
This is America and we are all Independent thinkers, and any group purporting to represent people of color are only speaking for the people that they are in association with.
Fox can stand on its own two feet just as any of the candidates should be able to do as well.
And for the record, this "Negro" will be casting her vote as a two for one. Two Smart Presidents for the price of one vote, because I favor a President who left us with a Balanced Budget and Peace.

43. The video in question is in fact represenative of a grade school effort in propaganda. Quick film edits combined with dialogue manipulation in which the entire context of the conversation is never mentioned is simply inexuseable and makes one seriously question the motives of Color of Change.
