The non-news news today is that CNN reporter Michael Ware heckled John McCain during a press conference yesterday. McCain paid a surprise visit to Baghdad in an attempt to show his comments of last week were not as outlandish as some - including Ware - said. In the video below, Ware denies any heckling. It would be great to see the video of the press conference. So, if anyone has that footage, please do send it along. Read more here.
UPDATE: You can watch the video of the press conference here.

3. BEYOND BUSH (The American Meltdown)
* The Presidential Elections, Team Clinton, Obama, McCain, Rudy, The present state of the War in IraqNam mean nothing as the Republican Party and Bush have decided to go down in a final blaze of GLORY, with its leader BUSH. It has become clear that Nancy Pelosi and her Congress is a CAN'T DO CONGRESS, The Senate is a Joe Lieberman WON'T DO SENATE, and The Executive is a STAY THE COURSE DAMN THE COST PRESIDENCY! The question is what is the Bush Damage Assessment with no change of course the day he leaves office, and how many decades will it take to undo that damage, or can it ever be repaired?
(1) Total projected dead ?
(2) Total projected wounded?
(3) Total projected cost?
(4) We have a debt ration of (6.5%) now what is the projected at that time?
(5) Projected Damage to United States Economy, economic slow down, recession, depression?
(6) Projected Damage to International Relations?
(7) Assessment as to a fighting withdrawal from War or an orderly withdrawal?
(8) Assessment as to odds Bush expands the War into Iran and into a larger middle east conflict?
(9) Will The Peoples Republic of Red China be the sole NEW WORLD SUPER POWER?
(10) Is Pax America over, has Bush brought the World Leadership by The United States to and end? Is the time of World American Leadership going down with Bush?
(11) Is the only response to Cuba, Iran, The Peoples Republic of North Korea, Venezuela, and other potential trouble spots a NUCLEAR ONE?
(12) What type of America are our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren left with after the Bush Meltdown?

5. Who allows these bloggers to clog up the internet with such BS? Ware is the one right on in this thing, and the author calling for Ware's ouster should get his head out of his ass or, better yet, get his ass off the internet. He is obviously a biased, ignorant moron. porky

6. MICHEAL WARE IS A LEFT WING COMMUNIST A DISEASED MIND ,DYSFUNCTIONAL. TO MOST HE SOUNDS INTELLIGENT BUT MOST DYSFUNCTIONAL MINDS DO SOUND THAT WAY/ THIS RAT THIS SCUM IS REALLY A MANCHURIAN CANDIDATYE PROGRAMED AGAINST THE USA . CNN USES HIS THOUGHTS AND HIS MISGUIDED DYSFUNCTIONAL REPORTING BECAUSE IT DOES MIRROR CNN. IF THIS RAT COMMUNIST SCUM OF THE EARTH REPORTED THIS WAY DURING WW2 HE WOULD BE LED OUT IN HANDCUFFS.

7. McCain has become a liar or maybe he cares more about politics than telling the truth.
Marie at 12:46PM on Apr 2nd 2007
8. Ware has been in Iraq day after nightmarish day, McCain shows up as an after thought and photo op. Ware by virtue of his experience has superior credibility to McCain or Bush who has yet to show up with another plastic turkey as he did during Thanksgiving in the dead of night.
If McCain was heckled he still shows more courage than Bush, who has yet to give a speech before a non-partisan crowd.

9. Senator McCain is truly a war hero....my fear is the insurgents have simply melted away with their arsenals...their killings have decreased but so has the number of insurgent deaths........I am afraid that time is on their side...we will be out within two years and the real bloodbath will begin. I can no longer find a silverlining for invading this country or any other country for that matter. I no longer believe that we can change a culture militarily much less economically. Thus far it has failed in most countries...unfortunately, political settlements don't favor the special interest groups....war is good for our economy and the war machine.

10. McCain has become another GOP liar. What happened to McCain? He was respected for his honesty and standing against the lies of the GOP.I guess he figured,if you can't beat them...

11. Weather Vain McCain is at it again! Just wait another 24 hours and he'll have another tune. Very typical of him and taking Bush's talking points and running with them. Now, since he has thrown in his presidential hat into the ring and besides sticking to his belief that this war is winable, well, he hasn't left himself too much wiggle room all and all. However, if it means for him to change his tune in order to win the election, yep, he'll be sprewing another angle. Weather Vain McCain.

13. There is a reporter for the Lone Star Iconoclast in Crawford, Texas that was at that news conference with McCain. Read her Fourth report for the truth, with humor.

14. Seriously, MCain is going to try and compete with Ware and his assessment of the Iraq situation. Ware and several other reporters are there day to day. I watched Mcain assessment of Patreus riding in the streets freely, open unarmored vehicle. What many forget is Mcains statement to Blitzer..."you need to catch up" with his cocky, smirky grin. Talk about heckling. That was when Mcain overloaded his arse. Mcains "TRUTH EXPRESS" came to a screeching halt.

15. There is already video confirming what Michael Ware said. During the video you do not here any laughter, or heckling by anyone. Here is the the link to the video - http://rawstory.com/news/2007/CNN_reporter_slams_Drudges_charge_that_0402.html
And besides, should conservative spin master, Matt Drudge be used as legitimate source like you would quote the AP or something.....I think not!!!
