Nancy Pelosi's trip to Damascus received rave reviews from an asortment of terrorists, but was the subject of concern in Israel and among certain liberal media outlets here at home. Now Lebanon's Daily Star weighs in, calling her trip a "fool's errand."
The Daily Star is unhappy that Pelosi told Syria's dictator that "the road to solving Lebanon's problems passes through Damascus." The Lebanon newspaper reminds the dilettante diplomat that "the spirit and letter of successive United Nations Security Council resolutions, as well as Saudi and Egyptian efforts in recent weeks, have been destined to ensure precisely the opposite [of what Pelosi is encouraging]: that Syria end its meddling in Lebanese affairs."

We have another Jane Fonda on our hands and to think, is she just a couple heartbeats away from being the Chief? Nancy must have grown up believing that her country never is accorded the benefit of the doubt. It's always in the wrong if influienced by the other party.
With the breakup of the American families, no one is teaching values. Therefore why should we expect anyone in DC with a fat wallet to have any? I'd rather have a group of local plumbers making common sense decisions for our society than what's in DC. Pissed off up here in New England!!!

History will show who the real fools were in this war. Basically what we have accomplished so far is removing and executing a washed-up 70 year old dictator who we supported in his murderous prime. We also have at our expense enabled and embolden a far more dangerous enemy in Iran. Now you have two neighboring Islamic Republics run by Shia dominated leadership - anyone really believe Iraq won't become Irans best friend and ally ? They already are and only our presence there is delaying the inevitable. None other than Pat Buchanan has said the Iraq War is "the greatest strategic blunder in our nations history". Others have echoed similar statements and so far it looks like they may be on to something. The difficult lessons learned by Great Britain and France in India and Algeria seem lost on this administration. Tough talk will take you so far but common sense, planning, and foresight will take you much further. Unfortunately those things have been in short supply with our leadership. Bad intelligence is something you will always have when you have people making decisions unable to comprehend it.

HIS INTRO INTO THE RESURRECTION WAS GEORGE BUSH IS DOWN IN THE POLLS AND 75% OF THE PEOPLE NO LONGER SUPPORT HIM IN THIS IMMORAL WAR.

57. This is really one of the biggest jokes I've seen or read recently: the Right Wing Bush Bootlickers whining over Majority Speaker, Nancy Pelosi's trip to Syria. While the official mantra coming from the White House via their substitute White House Purveyor of Lies, Dana Perino, is that Pelosi's trip "is a bad idea" none of them say a word about the minority party's Republican congressmen who preceded Pelosi in their own sojourn to Damascus.
Now, added to the whiners and fear-mongering screechers is the total hypocrisy that Bush and his Republican handmaidens displayed in supporting one of the biggest aiders and abettors of terrorism, Pakistan, whose dictator, Pervez Musharraf, has rolled the U.S. taxpayers for over $4 billion which Bush used to bribe Pakistan in becoming one of his subject-countries in the laughable Coalition of the Wilting. Now, al-Qaeda's poppy harvest and opium profits from Afghanistan, the world's largest grower and supplier of opium, are funding the resurgent madrassas in Karachi and Islamabad, Pakistan, and training new terrorists to kill Americans.
Now, here's the real kicker for those groveling, weak-spined, morally depraved Republicans who simply ignored the absolute fact that Bush is sending our U.S. military men and women to support the incipient terrorist-state, Iraq. Yes, that's absolutely true and the proof can be seen in Bush's puppet government of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki who stood with his entire parliament last summer and denounced Israel in the Lebanon-Israeli conflict while at the same time they gave their support to the terrorist group, Hezbollah.
To all you Bush Bootlickers and your propagandists who continue to give cover to the terrorist-supporting Bush administration: please join with the majority of the American people who said, "No!" to Bush on November 7, 2006 and please start supporting democracy in America, not Bush's puppet Islamic Shiite regime in Iraq which is allying itself ever closer to its brethren in one of America's biggest threats, Iran!
Stop supporting the terrorists' recruiting poster boy, G. W. Bush, and start supporting our troops and the American people!!
