Nancy Pelosi's trip to Damascus received rave reviews from an asortment of terrorists, but was the subject of concern in Israel and among certain liberal media outlets here at home. Now Lebanon's Daily Star weighs in, calling her trip a "fool's errand."
The Daily Star is unhappy that Pelosi told Syria's dictator that "the road to solving Lebanon's problems passes through Damascus." The Lebanon newspaper reminds the dilettante diplomat that "the spirit and letter of successive United Nations Security Council resolutions, as well as Saudi and Egyptian efforts in recent weeks, have been destined to ensure precisely the opposite [of what Pelosi is encouraging]: that Syria end its meddling in Lebanese affairs."

The problem with Nancy Pelosi's visit to Syria is she thinks because she is a woman she is above the "male" president who leads our country, and truly believes she is "better" than him (in general most women feel this superiority to men whether they talk about it or not). The only problem with Ms. Pelosi's feeling of superiority is it could cost the rest of us Americans a lot more than it will cost her. She needs to work on participating on a team (the U.S. government's team to be exact) instead of consuming herself with what she is in charge of and letting the President know that he will listen to her. Ms. Pelosi this is something you can learn from most men is how to "do one for the team" - you are American aren't you?

92. Response #80/Sheri: I do believe that Nancy Pelosi thinks that she is better than our President, but I believe that it goes far beyond the fact that she's a woman. I believe that her ideology makes her the supreme evolved caste in her mind. The supreme caste believes that they have a superior gene and that laws and Constitutions are designed for people that need to be kept in check and not for the superior enlightened intellect that operates above the frey. I believe that she and people like her filter all of life through their arrogance and catagorize others based upon their demigod status. They don't care about what is lawful, constitutional or right as applied to themselves, since such things are only meant as guidelines, tools and a weapon to keep others of the lower caste in line who may foolishly think that they have rights and liberties that only belong to the more highly evolved. We couldn't possibly understand the wisdom of Her Highness sense we lack the evolutional capabilities. And that is why she has to project a misinterpreted mandate onto our vote since her demigod status gives her the insight to know what is best for us when we couldn't possibly know for ourselves. In her mind the rule of law and a self governing nation is too dangerous for us to handle and she will fix the worlds problems with her ideology alone.

94. Nancy Pelosi IS the mistake! She's looking at the BIG PICTURE, which is, the presidency! This IS her ultimate goal, as it is Hillary's.
