16. I am a single white mother and far from racists. We were living in a bad part of town and was a minority, I always encouaged my children to play with others no matter of the color, they were coming in crying from the rcaial comments towards them and even the day care was calling all the little black kids niggas and my kids would come home saying that. I had to fight to get them out of the schools and even the area because of the racism that the black kids was learning from home. I think it is not fair when a good white man says one bad thing he is persecuted for it. He does so much good in the world and he needs to be reconized for the good and not for the bad, but the bible does say the world hated me first and you will be persecuted because of me but be hold I overcame the world. This is a prophecy being filled but with help from other christains, Don will also overcome.

22. The sponsors are just plain opportunists. For them to say they don't advertise on shows that the public find offensive is offensive. Do they really think we are stupid? When did they decide that? That show has always been offensive and should have been cancelled long ago. People and sponsors are outraged today. CBS is irresponsible for the way they are handling this.

I find it strange that Imus, who is known for saying these types of things on and off air, and who has been saying these types of things about ALL races, religions, sexes, etc., has only now come under fire when he says it about a member of the black race. Where were you Mr. Sharpton all thoses other times or do you believe that civil rights is a 'black only' right? I think people would be more ready to help you with your causes if you fought on all sides. And don't give me the crap about pride in your race because the sad fact is is that if a Mexican says race pride he's told to go back to Mexico, a white man is told he's racist, etc.Equal rights means just that --EQUAL, for everyone. I was literally stunned into silence when I heard the news that Mr. Towanna Sharpton (and who the hell is this guy anyway?) managed to get my morning jolt fired....When was the last time anyone heard a black man or woman 'dis' a white person? You know why? Because it is no big deal, we are supposed to ignore it or someone will cry RACIST! I am so sick and tired of living with the phrase 'Politically Correct' which was coined in the Regan era, I could puke....Does anyone besides me think that Bush could have something to do with this brooohaha to get him off the front pages as the worst president we have ever had?
