46. When are Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton going to North Carolina to help the wrongly accused lacrosse players in getting their reputations back?

47. They Removed Imus I removed MSNBC from my TV. Let me know when Ann Coulter, Billo and Rush are no longer on tv then I will consider FOX NOISE. BUT MSNBC AND FOX NOISE ARE DELETED! Imus I stand with you.

48. Why is it all right for all other races to attack and put down whites but not the oppisite. when we do it is a hate crime/or racisist, but when they do it is alright. who is the minority now?

49. The fact of the matter is that if imus was black this would not even make the news. With the ridiculous things that rappers say on a daily bases no one really has a right to complain. We should be past the point as a society of anyone of any race pulling the race card.

52. I do not think that we should forgive him for his Stupid remarks. I don't believe he meant to be racist on the other hand. Sharpton and Jackson has made very racist remarks against caucassions and the jewish, yet the stations still view their oppinions. Whats good for the goose should be good for the gander. Lets take all 3 off the air since the other 2 can't seem to watch their tongues either. Or let the other 2 explain why they can allow their own people to degrate themselves without appology or themselves for their bigot remarks.

53. So where are the young women in all this ? They are the ones who should have decided whether or not Imus should have been fired. We are giving in to Sharpton and Jackson who have their own interests as heart.
I will miss Imus, I will miss getting pissed off at him for his offensive remarks and somewhat rude behaviour. But this is life, we are not living in Disneyworld.

54. I want to know when Sharpton, Jackson and the NAACP will be apologizing to the Duke Lacrosse Team for the comments they made about them. Because it was a black woman who accused white men of rape, they jumped all over it. Now, when proven that the woman was LYING, these so-called leaders are nowhere to be found.
I am not a big fan of Imus, never really listened to him, but I am disgusted that MSNBC has bowed down to these idiots who called for his head. He apologized for Gods sake....more than Sharpton and Jackson have done!

55. I realize many liked Imus and will disagree with my assesment of him, but like you, I too have my own opinion of him. I never would watch him on tv and if I accidently hit the remote to his station I would immediately cancel it. I just feel like he was a very sarcastic individual, his gum chewing drove me up the wall, and I feel he just always looked so dirty. I have seen many homeless street individuals who looked cleaner than he did. I just have no respect for this individual and glad he is gone. Sorry if I offended those who liked him, but like I said, this is my own personal feelings.

57. i will be boycotting nbc. imus has been the only commentater to call the gov., coporations and individuals to task for their mismanegment, corruption and stupity. he raises more money, exposes more crap(the V.A. hosp mess)etc and now those people have got him silenced.freedom of speech is a joke in this country.

58. Someone once said that the 'tolerance of intoleranceis the true mark of tolerance'. I disagree with Limbaugh 100% but his voice needs to be heard since he represents a significant number of Americans. Same with Imus. His comments, his style reflects the thinking and attitude of a large group of Americans. To be tolerant of those who agree with me doesn't prove a thing. To be willing to hear those who I strongly disagree with is what America should be about. Shame on Sharpton, Jackson and the other bigots who only would allow their point of view to be heard. Shame on MSNBC, GE etal for their desertion of the very essence of democracy...the right not to be in the majority.

59. you can rant and rant until dooms day....... you cant make someone love you ..........IF THEY DONT...

60. Anyone would agree that the remark was terrible, but Imus is a good and decent man wgho makes a living by being funny with shocking remarks and sometimes goes too far...like a Howard Stern....But these remarks are made in humor and nor anger. Don Imus through his enormous good deeds to society does not have to prove his worht, but Al Sharpton and the Reeeeeeeeeeeverend Jaackson have alot to ask forginess for. They are total hipocrites and advantage takers and have made millions from this career of their's. I don't think they would excuse Jesus Christ if he made such a remark but they have no trouble with all the Rap Garbabge that goes on every day in all our Media. And isn't interesting that only Rudi Julliani has the guts to stand with Imus while the rest hide in shame.....
