I'm sick and tired of Jackson and Sharpton jumping on everything. They are both preachers and what about forgivness. You just don't hear from them until something like this happens.
Imus should be reprimanded and fined but those two should not be the judge.

94. Yes, Imus was wrong and consequences should follow, but I am truly sick of hearing blacks make the same remarks on whites on TV and radio and the whites are "not allowed" to complain. 97. The blacks make comments about the white people on the news and radio stations constantly! Nothing is ever said about that. What about Farakhan, he openly says things about white people. And it's obvious he hates whites! But that's okay. White people always have to be so careful on how things are said or written making sure not to offend anyone. We have towalk on "egg shells". If we don't Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton would certainly be knocking on your door. There's definitely a double standard but it's overlooked.

102. Looks like most of the people replying to your blog are of the same mind; yes his comments were out of line but we do have freedom of speech?
Why does everyone run scared when an off color comment is made by a white person, we do have freedom of speech?
Actually the only people in the US that have freedom of speech are the minorities, specifically black people, seems that they can say anything they like and it is passed off as "their culture" or that they have been so "mistreated". Personally I am offended by much of the drivle that comes from the black community, my advice is to get your own house in order before lashing out at "whitey", suck it up and get on with life.
Actually I think one of the young ladies on the Rutgers team said it very well when she commented that unless the meaning of the word "ho" had been changed she was not one.
Wonder where the word "ho" comes from, just another butchering of the English language by a group of people who have very little respect for themselves or others.
