Last Thursday night, in the first Democratic debate, the undisputed star was former Sen. Mike Gravel of Alaska. Where other candidates were careful and choreographed, Gravel was candid and clamorous. 1. I think Mr gravel wants to empower the people and take the decisions that effect our everyday lives and return them to us. He may sound radical but attacking a country on false pretences is more radical. It makes you feel helpless to see government officials decide life changiong events without the consent of the majority of the people.
