16. I’m not defending Bill O’Reilly; he is somewhat similar to Chris Mathews in that regard:
• Ask the question.
• Answer the question for the guest.
• Then beat the guest with a schtich for not agreeing with the soliloquy.
However, over the past 4 years, I have watched other Media “giants” interview the omnipresent General, and the sycophant environment and softball questioning was just as appalling. After all Gen. Clark is a dedicated Democrat whose views are primarily those of a politician? As we all know, a politician will do or say anything to assist their party in maintaining or regaining power.

O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Hannity, and the rest of "circus conservatives" (not to be confused with real conservatism) will go down on a dark page in our nations history. They are big on selling their books, personal appearances, and premium websites to a well intentioned but unsuspecting public. An opinion worth having is worth researching yourself. It's sad to see so many people who actually are proud to be called "dittoheads". How pathetic is it when the spokesman for your views is a self admitted drug addict who also is in favor of strict enforcement of drug laws - except for him of course. Yet the President and Vice-President have no problem granting Limbaugh exclusive interviews.
Whatever happened to just say no to drugs ? The type of demagoguery that Limbaugh and the rest promote has been around for ages - it's just funny to hear these clowns rail and whine the mainstream media. For many in this country they ARE the mainstream media.

All of this was under a quote that say's "O'reilly smeard the holocaust survivor" I mean could the liberal media be any more blatent about what direction they're going in, or trying to take us ?

I read the article on the cover page of AOL and they invite me to vote on won or lost,then I go to see the video on the link and its sponsord by "we watch bill o'reilly so you dont have to". On top of the video is a caption or quote that says "O'reilly smeard the holocaust survivor for his democratic or liberal veiws" This blatent abuse of a liberal media to try and steer me into their way of thinking really pisses me off! 30. Isn't it shocking that the only time that service members are asked to say something negative about the chief executive is when a Democrat is in office?
When a Republican is P.O.T.U.S. you need to retire from the armed services to speak out against the President even if the offense is similar to or worse than the one that the Democrat made.
In this interview General Clark clearly won the debate. It seemed to me like both Clark and O'Reilly wanted to change the subject from the topic which was supposed to be answered. Both Clark and O'Reilly took the bait and began to answer, then continued to answer a question with a question.
Now I remember why I don't watch the O'Reilly show. If you ask a question at least be courteous enough to wait for a response. Do not shout your guest down or act better than your guest. The show just seems to be so infantile.
I have nothing against O'Reilly, he's probably a good man. He just doesn't come off that way on television. And I've known enough personalities to know that what you see on tv is rarely what you get in reality.
