We have already learned that Gore is third in the polls, if he runs I would imagine he would fly to the top.
For more about Gore Time Magazine spent some time asking him about the book, the environment, and his political career. here.... The Last Temptation of Gore.
Family Guy recently fantasized about the thought of Al Gore being President.

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."
- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002
"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power."

2. Al Gore has been whining ever since he lost the election of 2000.
Jeez just listening to him now is enough to make one nauseus .
Imagine if he had been President on Sept 11,, he probably would have apologized to the terrorists.
I am tired of listening to these politicians putting politics ahead of their country.

3. Gore has more class in the tip of his fingernail than Bush's entire administration. I can't wait to read this book because it sounds like he is spot on about what is happening in this country. I can hear the neocons starting to sputter out their attacks on Gore. He can sit back and watch them make fools of themselves yet again.

4. "Sleepy Al" for president?? He looks and sounds like he's asleep or hypnotized. Hes as exciting as watching paint dry. What ever led you to believe female reporters were intelligent??? These are the reporters who would ask a prez. candidate who their favorite soap opera star was. Diane Sawyer's intelligence level is directly proportional to the person writing her script notes.

5. I like Al Gore a lot more since he got out of politics. I hope he does run but I also hope he doesn't.

6. Another ad hominem attack on the man rather than addressing issues, or attempting to provide a solution renders posts such as #1 from Irv nugatory from the outset. That post, like so many others on both sides are not only boring put quotidian and mundane.
Gore is right, not just concerning the current administration and congress but the fact that our government has not been resolving important issues, as exemplified by the lack of progress over these past years.
Gore is not whining, his is in his way attempting to bring light into areas of darkness. Irv, with alll due respect, YOU simply do not like the guy, well it may be I don't either, but we all should be more concerned with content and suggested real solutions, rather than personalities or party affiliation!
Gore has become somewhat of a hand wringer, however the future presently seems clouded with little positive in evidence from those currently running for nomination of their respective parties with the gaol of our nations highest office.

7. Why is it that you Jesus freaks can't stand somebody with brains. When "shit for brains" entered office we had the strongest economy in the U.S. history, he has spent the surplus, bankrupted the treasury, and shattered the record for the biggest annual deficit in history. This court appointed asshole needs to be impeached and then tried for war crimes.

8. Al Gore is such a bore he would drive us all crazy. His global warming issue is largely hot air (pardon the pun) especially since a couple of decades ago he was no doubt heavy into global cooling.

9. OVER 3000 AMERICAN MILITARY WOULD BE ALIVE NOW, IF GORE HAD BEEN MADE PRESIDENT INSTEAD OF BUSHIT( WHO WAS NOT ELECTED BY THE PEOPLE)

10. Of course you know there are really two Al Gores'. Al before the lobotomy(BL)and after the lobotomy(AL). Since he had the lobotomy at the age of eleven you might come to your own conclusions.

12. Whenever someone decides to have an intelligent conversation, there are those who come forth to ask about weight, or to attack the persons appearance, or manner of speaking. I for one do not, at this time, believe former Vice President Gore will run for the Presidency. That having been said, I have to say that he is a thoughtful enough American to be listened to for his comments and ideas, which by the way, in this interview was pointed, correct and complete. Or if I was writing a report, I would say it fits all four of the qualifications of a report. It was concise, (if not interrupted and having to repeat himself to a reporter who is only seeking sensationalism) Clear, complete and correct. Pay attention to what is being said and to body language and not to the silliness of weight or sleepy eyes. There is no need to attack. Civilness is important to a discussion. Anger fails everytime.

15. Response to Irv (Post #1)
Did you watch the clip all the way through? Al Gore was doing anything BUT putting poitics before his country. He is challenging us as citizens of a democracy to behave like grownups and look at the substance of issues, rather than jibberish, jargaon, and emotional talking points presented by the Washington spin doctors and their media mouthpieces.
