We have already learned that Gore is third in the polls, if he runs I would imagine he would fly to the top.
For more about Gore Time Magazine spent some time asking him about the book, the environment, and his political career. here.... The Last Temptation of Gore.
Family Guy recently fantasized about the thought of Al Gore being President.

31. Jorge i would be willing to bet your just as big a mouth breather as i think you are or at least that you demonstrate in your comments. your right clintons cigar is no longer in the news. instead its the count of the days dead from a deadend war that your "moral majority" championing president has gotten us into with his lies. lets see a cigar in a girls nether regions killed exactly how many of our youth? you ignorant bible beating couch riding doofas.

32. Gore, of course, is a horse's ass. A bitter loser who has latched onto another losing issue, the political issue of climate changes.
Global climate changes are 'Natural Cycles" without any human connection. "This global warming spoof is one hundred percent political" Said Dr. Albert Wagner today at the USCB Convention.
"We should actually thank God for climate changes, otherwise, we would still be in the Ice Age, by the way, which occurred several million years before the first Buick."
david at 2:58PM on May 22nd 2007
33. David you are disconnected and just what would the USCB be? never heard of it. the only famous or scientifically relevant person by the name Albert Wagner I know of is a theoretical chemist and has not published any findings on global warming manmade or otherwise. perhaps you got the name wrong perhaps your just another misinformation spouting moron....who knows. perhaps you just got out of your climatology summit meeting and you have the latest science to share with us. lol. get out your out of your league. if you wish to debate something you should learn both sides otherwise your not informed enough to debate the issue. maybe you should continue on to tell us that intelligent design theory you have just formulated with jorge. encumbered by idiots i press on.

34. Gore was cheated out of the presidency by the Supreme Court and Bush. I am sure he was and is very hurt by this. Gore would probably be a great president should he be elected. But he must decide to put his pain aside, and to run. I support him either way. I don't need a rock star in the office. A person who has prinicples and who thinks will do just fine.

35. You Godless liberal swine will not sway me with your "logic". Every president worth his salt has been willing to send our soldiers out to spill blood for our country in the name of freedom. You were all excited about taking over Iraq and getting cheap oil, just like everyone else in this country. Now that the war has gotten off track, mostly because of your allies in the drive-by media, you want to complain because things haven't gone exactly according to plan.
Well, guess what you free-spirit, dope-smoking, good time rock-and rollers? YOU do not matter. You are not the decision makers, we are, and you can't do anything about it. All your "non-binding resolutions" and toothless, impotent rhethoric won't bring the troops home. We will still be in Iraq when your grandchildren are voting us into office. You better just get comfortable and pack a lunch.
I am a naturalized U.S. citizen, and I support George W. Bush. We had to learn about the U. S. Constitution in our naturalization classes. You commies should get off your lazy, complacent asses and read it yourselves. Maybe then you would realize why it was essential for us to invade Iraq in order to preserve our national interests and security.

36. AL GORE IS A LYING, GUTLESS WONDER THAT NEEDS TO JUST SIT AND MCDONALDS AND STUFF HIS FAT FACE AND LEAVE RUNNING THIS COUNTRY TO PEOPLE WHO NO HOW WITHOUT WHINING AND CRYING.
Michael Walsh at 3:15PM on May 24th 2007
37. Les DeWitt, I assume your parents named you les because you had less going for you than your siblings. You might want to get over the 2000 and 2004 elections or maybe get some therapy. Bush repaired the Clinton economy after it was exposed as a phony economy propped up by cooked books. I guess all the home building an ownership records in America don't mean anything? Gore, inventor of the internet, is finished. Get over it.

38. Gorrey has to lose 87 lbs before he can run for president.
jyakimow at 5:09PM on May 22nd 2007
39. Gorrey has to stop eating too many fat burgers.
Joe Yakimow at 5:11PM on May 22nd 2007
40. Al Gore got robbed by Jeb Bush in Florida during the 2000 presidential election. Yet today, I believe Gore would be excellent choice as president. However, once the national right-wing media gets through with him, you would think that he ate Mexican babies for breakfast. Of course supporting an ex-drug user, alcoholic, draft dodging, lying, and absolute corrupt moron with a criminal record like Bush is okay. Go figure.

41. This is in response to #4, Ron Duby. Listen, pal, the last time you voted on a president, you based it on whether or not he'd be fun at a barbeque, and you see where THAT logic got us. Do us a favor, Einstein, and listen to the CONTENT of what the candidate is saying...that is by far more important than HOW he says it. You people never learn, do you?

42. Gore has seen the truth of the matter. I hope he does run now, even though I really want a Republican to win just so they can raise taxes and be stuck with the impossible mess Bush left everyone. Maybe there is hope though. For your clueless who keep harping about 'weapons of mass destruction' in past comments...Clinton never invaded Iraq....Gore never invaded Iraq.....and Bush used the 'wmd' to mean nuclear missiles. Of course we knew he had the means to make biological weapons, who the hell doesn't? By that logic, why are we not invading at least 20 nations, with 50 more to follow? Oh wait, I used the word 'logic', sorry to confuse you.
God Bless you Al Gore, wasn't a big fan of yours, but then I was brainwashed by 'Fox News' growing up. Think for the future of America, "think outside the Fox".
thinkwisesaveUS at 7:51PM on May 22nd 2007
43. Simply put..the Bush family has been toxic for our nation and if one cares..the world. If Your mental age is about 15 you won't remember, but the rest of us can think back to when we were proud of this country. Proud to be a citizen of a country that was looked up to by the entire world. If you can be proud of a country that attacts another innocent country on kills tens of thousands of inncent civilians, and displace's millions more from their home's you are either stupid or braindead..some of the above post's are astounding in their callousness, wickedness and stupidity. wake the f**k up

44. Oh Diane, I don't know who wrote your questions, but I'm hoping it wasn't you. Al Gore, without ranting, yelling or hurling insults, managed to make you, and in a larger context the media in general, look silly and superficial. Gore at the best of times is not a powerful speaker, but if I listen carefully he's fair, observant and intellectually honest. Al, it was a pleasure to hear a man cut through the crap and do what I would expect the news reporter to do, consistently bring the conversation back to the subject matter at hand and stop the mindless/witless digressions.

45. Jorge you pitiful little man, you wouldnt know logic if it bit you in the ass! dont stand around telling me about the need to send soldiers to a foriegn land until you sign on the dotted line and go yourself. or better yet send your first born son to get killed for bushes war. dont be a simpleton and dont even respond I really couldnt give a rats ass for your opinion til you put your money where your mouth is Mr. Naturalized right winger. As for your commie comments what are you a senator McCarthy wannabe or something. or perhaps you dont realize from your history lessons that I hope you had in order to become a citizen of this wonderful country that it is the diversity of the thoughts and ideas as well as cultural backgrounds that makes this country great. and that means even narrow minded little snots like you can spout your populist right wing moral majority crap and not suffer any repercussions your one step away from being a facist and you can still express your views. that is what we should fight to protect not for oil in some third world country half way around the globe that could'nt shake a stick at our homeland, but for threats to our national security such as dismantling the terrorist organization in afghanistan and its backer in the taliban. Iraq has no connection to either of those. or is your head to far up your butt to realize either of those points. and further more I have no problem with judicious use of our military as long as it is a necessary conflict to protect the USA. and we have an electoral college because the general population of the USA was illiterate in the early 1800s and communication was too slow to allow for informed decisions for voters it has nothing to do with any of the other reasons you stated and as far as the reason we have it that has become obsolete as now over 90% of our voting population is literate as opposed to less than 10% when the constitution was ratified, you moron. and since you are not part of the electoral college why do you still insist on referring to each accomplishment or action of the electoral college as "we" you overzealous jackass. Perhaps you should expend some of your time on education so you can speak intelligently about the matter.
