Much has already been written about Lindsay Lohan's recent troubles, some of it musical, so there's no need to go on about them at length here.
Instead, let's briefly discuss the ripple effect, which is what happens with other people decide that celebrity lifestyles are so desirable that they must be foisted on innocent little children. (The words "innocent," "desirable," and "lifestyles" should all be in ironic quotation marks, but that starts to look cluttered, and it "disrupts" the "flow" of "thought.")
After you watch this video -- can it be real? -- a number of questions will no doubt spring to mind, but the one that got me was this one: how can every kid be the tannest kid in the class? Isn't that impossible? (h/t: BWE)

92. Comment to Nadia: Salma Hayek is also white, her
ethnicity is Hispanic, but her race is white. Many
Hispanics are white, such as myself, my skin is fair.

What sad times those are indeed.
As for commenter #45: You're being sarcastic, right? You have to be.

95. Why not do something useful with that amount of money. I just spoke to a woman who lost her husband and does not hae enough money to buy groeries because of the cost of gasoline to go to work. This is very bad america you should be ashamed of your self.

96. Um Elise, you're retarded. Not everyone in California has fake boobs, dyes their hair, and tans incessantly. Those shows you watch on TV only show a very small (and rather superficial) group of people that live around here. Hate to tell you, but all the rest of the people that live in California are normal.

97. Oh, yes, Virginia....there really are people that
stupid in this great country of ours. Most of them
are called Democrats, but Californians are of an enitrely different species altogether. With the Dems, it is a chosen stupidity,... but with the
Californians, it is natural.

98. I actually disagree with most of you. I am looking at it from a different perspective. If she manages to pay so much money for a luxury, tanning, etc. then imagine how much she is willling to pay for her school, her tuition, her books, extra curricular acitives, sports, etc. This mother truly loves her daughter to spend so much on something so unnecessary one would assume she would spend more on the necessary. No harm was meant in this video clip, all that was demonstrated was the power of wealth and its uses. I just hope the mother continues to cater to her daughters needs in the future, teach her modesty above all, and maybe if she is that wealthy to DISTRIBUTE it among many people who don't have it so well. Bottom line, this video exhibited "giving" and no one should be angry with that.,

99. Hey Bimbo Mom! If you really are concerned about the child looking too pale: Wouldn't it have been cheaper to PAY THE PHOTOGRAPHER TO MAKE YOUR PICTURE DARKER and safer to the child at the same time??? Phtographers and modern equipment can alter any ordinary person, just look at those pictures of Katie Curic, Rosie O'Donell and many Hollywood people who are air brushed and suddenly don't have any inperfections! The right light bulb can make wonders when taking a picture. This child's mom shows her bimbo brain when she thought that painting the child at the cost of $1,300 was the easiest way to "unpale" the naturally beautiful little girl.
It was sad to see the fear in the child's eyes. At elementary school age you are supposed to be playing with dolls, Nintendo games, not trying to look like a famous drug and alcohol addict, party animal, bad example to young women and kids. Yeah, when the other kids look her up in the yearbook they'll always remember her as the tannest kid in the class, not the brightest, friendliest, sweetest, but that year she'll be the Lindsey Lohan wanna-be girl with the dumb butt mom.

100. Now Mommy needs to get her little girl a bottle of OxyContin and teach to not wear underwear in case a photo opt comes along where she can spread’em for the camera. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of and borders on child abuse. You can hear the little girl say I don’t want to do this. The mother is classic f’tard and her daughter should be taken away from her.

101. "60. White people are so stupid."
Nadia: You are as dumb as the mother in this story. Your remark is racist and completely out of place. You should be ashamed of yourself for making such a remark based -I think- on this one woman in this story. If it isn't based on that then you are out of place for expressing your feelings on how you perceive others. I hope you never get sick, have a heart attack and the only person around you to help you is a white person, because based on your believe I guess you'll die.

102. this was very encouraging. I see a mother who actually cares how her child looks in a school picture. Some of the pictures that I see are really sad. Very homely young people who could be hot if their parents would just spend a few bucks. I would have had a complete do as well. that would consist of a skin anylalsis that would give the recommended level of surgery needed to be just about competetive with anyone

105. I dont think its fair to generalize people in California as fake. Not everyone is like that and takes an ignorant person to just say were fake.
