This is the most ridiculous queue that I have ever had the misfortune to be a part of...it took me 3 and a half hours to get to the front. It is a line in Heathrow airport that is simply a transit line to get to Terminal 4...My original flight had landed at...Terminal 4. So naturally I had to go out and then go back in again. Does this make sense? No it does not. And when I asked why there was such a long delay for such a simple procedure as going between flights I was told "It's always like this before Christmas." Do you think they had extra staff on? No, they did not. And to top it all off, they, of course, lost my luggage. I shouldn't complain too much though, on that day a further 8999 people had their luggage lost as well.

2. Whats the expression, "be prepared", and "know the drill"? Don't like it but arrive extra early, for heavily traveled periods, limit the carry on, check it if you must. I refuse to allow others to "get to me", so I practice my patience a week ahead of time. . But I do try. Bring a good book...

3. This is typical for this airport. I avoid Heathrow at all costs.

7. And I complained about an hour and a half and getting my flight cancelled? Still, a little organization and preparation at this airport should keep someone from freaking out!!!

8. THIS IS REALLY BAD SERVICE AND THOUGH I APPRECIATE AIRLINE SECURITY, PAYING CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE CHARGING THE AIRLINES FOR THEIR VALUABLE TIME AS WELL. AN ETHICS COMMITTEE SHOULD BE STEPPING IN AND AIRLINES SHOULD BE SEEING THAT FLYING HAS NOT BECOME A CONVENIENCE ANY MORE. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE AVAILABITY OF ALTERNATIVE FUELS.

9. this is ridiculous! Is something being done about this? Children and older people can not stay in this long line.I hope there is a closeby ambulance or paramedic if anyone faints and security if anyone losses his patience and started getting wacko.

11. That has to be 1 of the worst cases of inefficiency I've ever seen. Inexcusable, imo. There's nobody who works for that airline or airport that can't help out? I'd bet that there's a few 'suits & ties' sitting in some office, observing the total back-up & saying to the others, "There's no f*ckin way I'm going out in that mayhem!! Switch the channel!!"

12. WOWO HOW PATHETIC I WOULD HAD FREAKED OUT I WAS FREAKING OUT JUST SEEING THE LINE ON THE COMPUTER AND HOW LONG IT TOOK TO WATCH IT THATS HORRENDOUS, GROSS AND VERY UN-PROFF. OF THEM REMIND ME TO NEVER EVER GO TO THAT SHITEN HEATHROW AIRPORT I WOULD HAD DEMANDED MY MONEY COMPLETLY BACK FOR THAT HORRENDOUS INCONVIENCE THATS JUST DISPICABLE IF YOU ASK ME...

13. After seeing that, I may never complain about airports again. We have been to Heathrow and don't like it. It is just plain too big. We usually try to fly into Gatwick instead, though that can be a pain, too. But it's better than Heathrow. The first time we flew out of Heathrow, we taxied so long and so far I thought they were going to drive us home in the airplane instead of fly us home.
