Here are a couple interesting comments made during the past week, go ahead and digest these "fair and balanced" comments.
First he blames the TB mans actions on "Secular Progressives"?
Traditional values people put others on a par with themselves. That's the Judeo-Christian tenet. Love your neighbor as yourself. Secular Progressives put themselves above all others. That philosophy says "Me first, then I'll worry about you."

1. I tend to agree with Bill on the issue of the TB man -- I'd bet he is Kerry voter. In fact, if my husband and I see a driver in a big SUV driving recklessly, we announce to one another, "Kerry voter."
Secularists are right to be selfish. If you have no belief in God and His commandments, why not "Go for the gusto"? Other people are just in your way unless they are useful to you or you happen to be emotionally attached to them (for now, as in a husband or wife).
Religion may be a thin veneer to the majority of people, but it is this thin veneer that makes civilization possible.

2. So I guess what you are saying is that if you don't agree with someone else's views, especially Bill O'Reilly, then that person must be at a new low. Or is it just that you feel that anyone who has a view different than yours is low? Please enlighten me on the purpose of your post.

3. Fox News is the only media news station who has ever gone to the length of actually getting a court order to distort the news. Its not news, is propaganda. The fact that it has the highest ratings may say more about the fact that a lot of people, like I, don't watch TV (but I will if the hurricane is coming), rather than which stream of thought is actually pre-dominant in America.

I don't think Jeff is suggesting that. Well, I don't think so anyway, I sometimes get the feeling he could be a dangerous communist sympathizer, and a Canadian.
Bill O' has taken this TB story and skewed it to his particular political point of view, in this case, secular progressives are selfish and uncaring unlike the faithful.
The second video is demonstrating that Bill O' believes liberals are trying to remove the white, Christian, male power structure, and essentially since that is what makes up Government in the U.S. he is surreptiously suggesting that liberals are trying to bring an end to the U.S. Government itself.
That is all Jeff is asking. Either Bill O' is being completely honest and you can take what he is saying at face value or it is a cynical ploy to garner fear and hence more viewers. Jeff is suggesting the latter. He's just putting it out there.
I'd have to agree with Jeff on his point as I would describe myself as a 'liberal/secular progressive' and at no stage have I felt the urge to infect others in the community with TB. I've also never thought of ending the white, christian male power structure. I've thought about ending the white power structure, sometimes the christian power structure, and on the odd occasion the male power structure, but it has never crossed my mind to end the white, christian male power structure. We'd be left with anarchy.

5. It is amazing to me that anyone actually listens to O'Reilly or Fox propogandanda and lies. It is such total nonsense.
Most atheists I know have morals that run the rings around so called christians. I would bet the TB guy is good evangelical. It does not matter what he does all he has to do is go to churrch, cry boo hoo hooo a couple of times and he is forgiven.
And to try and link the actions of the TB guy to the white male power structure, is just plain dumb. Did you notice the TB guy is white, a lawyer, a male, etc?

6. What astounds me is just how much time was devoted to this story! Not that many people give a rats mandible about some free-wheeling PI lawyer, exposing a very tiny segment of the population to his foul emissions!
If those were all the people he harmed in a given period of time, then he's safer on a plane than back at home, conducting business as a practicing PI bottom feeder!

10. Bill is a commentator, he adds his opinion to news storys. That's the premise of his show. Not different then Lou Dobbs, or anyone on other cable news networks. The comment that was listed above about the white christan male power struggle.... Talk about someone taking a comment out of context. Please youtube the scene and see what was really said.
