Here are a couple interesting comments made during the past week, go ahead and digest these "fair and balanced" comments.
First he blames the TB mans actions on "Secular Progressives"?
Traditional values people put others on a par with themselves. That's the Judeo-Christian tenet. Love your neighbor as yourself. Secular Progressives put themselves above all others. That philosophy says "Me first, then I'll worry about you."

35. Fox news and Bill O'Reilley are just mouth pieces for the inadaquate republican party, who do give out misinformation to the public. Just look at the Republicans record of the mess they made in this country, from the war to illegals coming here and being able to stay. It is sickening how they slant the news for their purpose, making there point seem the right way. It's just plain hog wash. I can't beleive people listen to the lies and bullshit these people put out.

37. The USA is more divided politically than I've seen in my lifetime (I'm 54). O'Reilly has the right to give political commentary. So does Keith Olberman, Chris Matthews, Rush Limbaugh, and just about everyone else. Ever heard of the 1st Amendment? Most news networks have a bias of some sort of another. CNN is as liberal as Fox News is conservative. I listen to and watch as many political commentators of all points of view as time permits. I do agree with Bill that the baby boomer generation is the "do it if it feels good, live for now, all for me" generation. We have passed down this philosophy to our children. Chritianity is not the evil of our society. Jesus correctly belived that we should help the poor and the sick, love our neighbors, as well as our enemies. Most churches don't ascribe to the philophies of televangelists, nor should they. I think disagreement is healthy for our society. It is not healthy when we agree with only one point of view and fail to consider other points of view.

38. While I don't condone O'Reilly's gross generalization on this issue, I do find it incredible that this guy decides to take issues of other people's health in his own selfish hands in order to do what he wants to do.
If his Father-in-law is involved in this issue, and who is affiliated with the CDC, I believe he should be fired over his interaction in this matter.
I also believe the TB guy should be prosecuted for endangering the health of others. Since he's an attorney I'm certian he understands his actions could be considered a felony if he infects someone with a life debitating disease like TB.
Way too selfish for my taste ...

39. Faux News has ONE PURPOSE: scare the crap out of white people period in order to keep the ratings up and keep them voting for the GOP, whose political money-machine supports Faux News. White folks got the money and Faux has a simple formula to keep 'em coming back by using fear and lots of it! Fear is the template which accomodates all misinformation or propaganda. As for Bill, he hit the "low" when he lied about receiving Peabody award!

41. When O'Reilly is right, he's right and when he's wrong we see that too, but that goes for any political commentator.
I disagree with him on many things, but his comments about the TB guy and the NY Times are right on the mark. I try to find one balanced comment in the times editorial pages and rarely find one.
They could find a way to blame a head cold on Bush. It' amazing. Try putting them under a daily microscope and see what you get.

42. I watch FNC, listen to Rush,& Sean. Their formula is very simple. Take the words and actions of those on the left, then show the hypocricy, lies,
back stepping, side stepping, manipulation of these politicians from day to day. They say one thing do another. Say they want to save Social Security and all they want to do is control it and have it for a political tool. They vote for the war then do everything they can to undermine the effort. That has cost more lives then anything else. They have done nothing but help our enemies.
Power is the only motivation of the left and they will say and do anything to get it and maintain it. FNC and talk radio does nothing more than document this using the words, and actions of these politicians. You lefties keep crying about fox news and talk radio. The left and its propaganda machine controls all the major newspapers, the 3 major TV network news, and CNN.
You can't win in the arena of ideas that is why FNC is kicking butt and the others are lagging behind. People are smart enough to see through the
real propagandists on the left and all you lefties can think of doing is the same thing Hugo is doing down south and try taking out your competition by force and regulation. You lefties are greedy, misguided, uneducated, and dishonest. You want one rule for yourself and other rules for the rest of us. Most of you would never live the lives you have created in the big cities for the lower class masses. Your socialist utopias are right there so why are you living in the suburbs. Go live your dream life where big government is on every street corner corrupting and ruining lives with wacky far left ideals creating generations of failure and miserey for your ignorant followers.

45. Margret, since it's the right that questions global warming, not to mention science in general. I think it's a gross distortion to peg SUV drivers as "kerry Voters". Really, think about it. Most everybody has an SUV, Kerry would be President if your theory passed the smell test.
Also don't you think that since the attitude from the right has traditionaly been I got mine, the hell with the little guy. I think that buying into the distortion and the hypocrisy comming from the right wing propagandists should be nothing to be proud of.
