Deep in our hearts, that's what we all want. Obama sounds so good. His speech on foreign policy yesterday hit so many good notes. But we're all a little worried about two things. Does he have enough experience to win? In other words, is he quite there yet? And does he have the courage to do what is right even if it might not be popular at the time?

3. Are you KIDDING ME? Gore/OBAMA....why in the world would you or Al Gore want an Obama?
Obama shares none of the same principles of Al Gore.
Obama wants blind following, no question.
Al Gore believes in question and dissent and action from the grassroots.
Al Gore realizes the importance of our environment and is fighting this climate crisis.
And how special interests should not be controling the candidate, the government represent the people.
Obama supports his Corporate donors and thinks thats just fine to trim his sails for them. He supported Bankruptcy Bill amendments for his happy donors, and would even support a cap of 30 percent by credit card companies.
Obama is supporting Liebermans Nuke Bill, but not Boxer/Sanders Global Warming Bill.
Obama is now PUSHING the Liquified COAL BILL WITH BILLIONS of tax payer dollars to go to the prviate Coal(Oil)businesses.
WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD A SUPPORTER OF AL GORE, WANT OBAMA? LETS JUST THROW LIEBERMAN ON THE TICKET AGAIN, at least people won't feel so stupid for not paying attention to Obama and just following his empty words.
As a reporter said of Obama in a rescent response, "Yes, Obama is a cynic and a liar. Having spent about an hour alone with the man, I also think he's very shallow, a rank hustler.

So please, the best thing for our country and the World is Al Gore, the President. Lets stop weakening the possibility of winning and election with another weak ticket with an Obama as a possible running mate.

Obama campaigned for his US Senate seat being against the (Iraq)war and opposed to the Patriot Act.
Except, he didn't support ending the war in the 2 years he was in office, until he ran for president
AND, that 2nd thing ...our poor rights being trampled with the Patriot Act???????
He voted for Patriot Act 2 as well.

10. Nice try, but a "Gorbama" ticket isn't fair or balanced. It's all about something called "The Fire In The Belly!" Gore has been sitting sidewayz for too long to embrace a candidate in this race. Anyone looks like they want it more than Gore. No, Gore would have to be a part of a more radical ticket. I could see Gore and Colin Powell if that's what it takes, but not Obama. The Democrats are in position to win with what has been offered. If Edwards and Obama worked together they could win. Why do you think the Republicans have been attacking Edwards since the last race ended? Edwards is a Rebel and he answered the call in 2004. Edwards paid his dues by not fighting Kerry. If Kerry ignored Bill Clinton, Kerry would be President today. Kerry blew it, not Edwards. If Edwards runs the right race, nobody can beat him. He's the right person at the right time. Gore, Obama, and Clinton are welcome in an Edward's Administration. Two Americas is all about "Affirmative Access". Edwards has the issues. Gore is a happy safety net. He's the Democrat's Fred Thompson.

11. IF Gore decides to run, which I hope he does, he shouldn't wait too long to announce his candidacy. That would be his undoing. I have no problem with a woman president, but for some reason don't trust Hillary, not because she is a woman, but because she seems to lack sincerity. Colin Powell would have made a good president, but he fell on his own sword with Iraq, and knows it. Gore is the only one that could defeat Clinton, so long as he makes his move soon. Waiting would relegate him to a spoiler role rather than a serious contender.

12. if Gore/Obama was dream ticjket for Dems, the dream ticket for Republicans would be Giuliani/MCain and the independents could run Bloomberg/Lieberman,,,either one of those tickets would kill and democratic chances

14. Help!!! Neither Gore or Obama can tell the truth.
Gore lives in a fantasy world and Obama...not Presidential material.
What we need is a President who can look the people in the eye and tell them exactly what is going on. And I believe that the man to do that is Fred Dalton Thompson. He doesn't seem to sugarcoat his messages. He tells it like it is. He is definitely not a politically correct hack. Go Fred!!
