Earlier in the week 7 Afghan children were killed by an American air strike, NBC reported this story and Bill O'Reilly got visibly upset because he believes reporting on "bang bang" stories "helps the terrorists."
This video comes from Crooksandliars.com, Olbermann and Huffington take a look at Bill O'Reilly's "Serious Reporting."
The Afghanistan Tag is participating in this weeks Tag Series, click the link and vote.
Just a couple related videos I would like to share. No matter what Olbermann says there is nothing wrong with reporting the dangers of bears.
Also Olbermann mentioned the O'Reilly's historical misinformation about the Malmedy Massacre. Here is the video footage of that O'Reilly gaffe (a New Low at the time)... Malmedy isn't even included in the list of worst O'Reilly moments.

1. Bill O'Reilly, Fox's 'Talking Head', has again shown his hippocrasy!
Early on, when the war was going well for us, O'Reilly could not spend enough time talking about it, showing video clips and photos and praising the Administration. He openly stated that 'Patriots' are concerned about the war and watch the news about it and that 'the un-patriotic' are those who ignore it. Now, the war going bad for us, Bill'O wants nothing to do with broadcasting it, showing photos or talking about the 'Decider's' decisions. He says it is 'un-patriotic' to spend time covering it. He ranted because NBC spent two minutes covering the war - two minutes of an hour broadcast. That is 'to much coverage'??!! Now, one bear attack this year is an epidemic of bear attacks and needs full time coverage. Bill, you have lost the few working grey cells you had. It is time you retired.

3. 152 channels and Reagan's deregulation have given us character's like Bill-O. Over 60% of republican's decry evolution, believe that the earth is only 6,000+ years old and watch Falafel Bill. Oh, and don't forget, global warming is only cyclical. I wish it were only sad, instead it may prove to be tragic.

4. If we do not stop the envasion against THE UNITED STATES,the IRAQ war and any other war we may face will be lost forever.

5. It's so ironic that someone posts that the Iraqi war will deter terrorism in the United States. We are no safer than we were before 9/11. Bush simply attacked the wrong country and, in doing so, has led our soldiers to slaughter for nothing except filling the pockets of himself and his cronies with blood money.

6. Those who choose to ignore the Fundamentalist Islamist threat need only go back to their history books for the period 1930-1941. Those who were pacifists during that period played a big part in the loss of millions of lives in WW11.

7. I agree, to an extent, with Bill O. The left wing media always wants to discuss how many civilians died at the hands of Americans.... I find it utterly amazing that we DON'T expect deaths while WE ARE AT WAR?????
I do believe myself that it is a way to convince the American people that this is a BAD WAR. Regardless of your opinions, WAS KILLS PEOPLE.... and maybe not always the ones intended. Just ask the 1,000's of American families who have lost our loved ones at the hands of the insurgents...who, by the way, DON"T WEAR UNIFORMS?

8. Dear Billie,
There is no invasion of the United States, there is no war in Iraq. It is an occupation that has been wrongly labeled as a war. The loss of 7 children as an unintended consequence is tragic but newsworthy. Bill-O does not contribute meaningfully to the debate. Knee jerk reaction is one of the things that got us into this problem. Our present administration's labeling it as a continuing war, for political purposes, is part of the problem. We are still there to prop up a government that we hope will be friendly to us. The alternative, including helping to have made Iran the dominent power in the middle east is why we are still there.

9. Chavez eliminated all opposing speech.
Liberals wish to eliminate all opposing speech.
Liberals, like Chavez, are anti American socialists.

10. My comment is directed at VAL's post....VAL, how in the hell can you say we are no safer now than we were before 9/11...I would love to hear your "unbiased view"....from reading your post let me try and guess your thoughts....oh wait, I already know...I bet most of them are not made up in fact, but in fiction.....

11. I think the creep of the world O' Reilly, doesn't want the disaster of Iraq covered because it makes the Dictator, and War Criminal in Chief Bush look bad. Just sweep the horror under the rug,, that is his reason for saying this. This guy is a disgusting idiot, and IT IS AN ILLEGAL, CRIMINAL, OCCUPATION OF IRAQ!! This country, should get the hell out, now, not tomorrow. This country destroyed a nation, killed thousands, and is getting away with murder, and Bill-o just doesn't want to see it.

12. Orilley belongs with Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, and the other airheads. When the Republican war and Bush were popular he couldnt get enough of it. Now he and the other rats are deserting the ship.

13. Dear Dick
Lets set the record straight. During the 1930's there were many Americans that agreed with Nazi Germany. It was called social darwinism. Pacifists were not the problem. Appeasement is what the history calls it. Pacifism is not the problem with what we see in Iraq. Stupidity is the problem. Our President did not know that there were three sects of Iraqi's. He thought they were all Arabs. They media must report. That is thier job. Our problem in Iraq is that we have made things much worse. Our job now is to correctly figure out how to deal with it.

14. We have no idea of the terror in Iraq. We are not taking care of our people that support these missions. I am a nurse that was recently terminated @ McDonald Army Health Clinic for assisting a patient with care. I am glad that the Army is investigating these bases because the soilders and their families are not getting the care they deserve. Thanks. Sincerely.
