| LEWISTON, Maine --A school administrator who says he was ridiculed and harassed based on a bogus news story is suing. Lewiston School Superintendent Leon Levesque is seeking $75,000 in federal court in Portland to deter what his attorney Bernard J. Kubetz characterized as irresponsible reporting by Fox News Channel. |
I am honestly not sure how this will turn out, Fox News actually won a previous case indicating that they were in fact allowed to distort the news. I heard about that thanks to this clip from the documentary "The Corporation."

1. "I looked this story up on a couple of websites and local newspaper" Doesn't sound too credible to me. You can see the money cha-ching in fox news reporters everytime you watch it.
Ham is not a toy, but this story is really cheesy. The "turkies" are probably the only people who beleive this crap.
I hope Leon Levesque wins his case but I'm sure 75,000 dollars is nothing to fox news and its corpoerate elitist backing them up. You can get away with murder in this country if you have "expensive lawyers" on your side.
But I'm nothing more than a wacko liberal to fox news anways, nice job Jeff, you have a real battle ahead taking down fox news.

2. Pardon this humorous pun, but what one eats in America is a matter of "taste". It has never be necessary to pass a law granting "freedom of food". We do not live in a Theocracy. At the very least, chosing to eat a ham sandwich is the "free practice" of religion. Ones choice of food should never be limited by the religious persuaion of another in the United State of America. We do not have a "religion" of the State, thank goodness.

3. Hey Jeff - I've been bringing up the previous court order Fox obtained allowing it to distort the new in comments for the last few years. What I do not understand is that knowing this, how can so many Republican TV zombies sit and be fed the cr*p that comes from Fox News and buy into it as if its the absolute truth. Thank you for taking attacking this evil TV network head on, and maybe, someday, Fox will get hit with a highly publicized court order that they can no longer lie to the American People.
