1. Savage speaks honestly about the muslim threat. Quieting him would be a mistake. We need people who will speak honestly about the real threat and not turn America into the enemy!

2. What a pathetic creature. He and Anne KKKoulter should be fed to starving poodles. But that would be harsh on the poodles.
Savage is also an opportunist. Before he was Savage, he was Weiner, a flower power hippie who was into pushing natural remedies. One he couldn't sell the snake oil, he changed his name and found the going price on hate.

3. Hmmm! So it's okay for an American woman to go to Arab countries wearing mini skirts and cross necklaces to sell bibles? I mean maybe Savage was over the top, but why are we catering to this traditional muslim dress in America? A fanatical guy in Pakistan was caught leaving their strong hold mosque in a woman's burqua. That burqua could hide people's faces and weapons and shouldn't be allowed in America's public places. Afterall, you can't wear masks or even sunglasses in a bank so why are we allowing a non traditonal American outfit in a vulnerable America? Savage was over the top, but I agree burqua's belong in the Middle East but not in America. We don't wear mini's and cross necklaces in Arab countries, so please respect our country and don't wear your burqua's in public. It does offend and even scare many Americans.

4. Let's see. If the Muslim terrorist woman were to dress in traditional western style (miniskirt and Christian cross nestled in her bare cleavage) then she could get real close to a drooling Michael Weener. He would be so smitten by her bare skin that he would not notice the molotov cocktail disguised as a power drink, while trying for a peek at her thong. Better be happy some women want to cover themselves from the tyranny of the potential western rapists fantasy, and just be left alone. Unfortunately a few of our GI's in Iraq have forced their way under the clothes of girls and women in Iraq who were doing all they could to not be "western" like Michael Weener wants them. If you don't like Burquas, it's easy. Don't wear one!

5. I have a feeling - and grant you, I've never personally tried - but... I have a feeling that it's fairly difficult to spit in anyone's face whilst wearing a Burka. The killing of children might be a little easier. Gotta pull 'em up under that drape first so nobody sees...
Actually, the Burka is not only, I'm sure, a ridiculously uncomfortable outfit (hot and stuffy too?), it can also be deadly. A three inch wide area of space to see, and that cut up by circles.
An interesting article from the Christian Science Monitor:

Yeah, Michael Savage is pretty far gone. Or maybe gone too far is more like it.
Sydney at 12:06AM on Jul 7th 2007
6. Sorry, forgot to finish the end of that "burkas can be deadly" thought. Not a small number of women have succumbed to falls or have been hit by cars due to having their field of vision so severely impeded while wearing a burka.
I did not mean to imply that the garment was inherently self-destructive like some Mission Impossible Message.

7. Micheal, I not only don't like burqua's I don't want to sit near someone wearing one while I'm on a subway or bus. I, also, don't want to stand near someone wearing one at a grocery store. You might be afraid of "American Rapists" as you say but we Americans are afraid of suicide belts hidden under burquas. Why did you move to a western country if you are so insulted by our western clothes? Did you all come here to change our political system is this a take over from the inside? I've never been prejudice, but this terrorism is scary and you people are doing nothing to calm our fears. No I'd never wear a burqua and as a feminist I find it degrading and as an American I find it threatening.

8. first of they should show the full interview of what savage is saying because you would then realize he is speaking somewhat out of anger i say some because he is partily right. if you want to live in america then you should go with the flow and not bring your own bold customs public, do what you want in you house. i am an italian american but you don't see me walking around speaking italian and thats because i am a proud american and for those of you aren't then savage is right

9. Whenever I hear idiots like Savage or Coulter talk I am thankful for free speech and I'm even more thankful they're not on my side. Keep up the good work Savage and assorted fruits and nuts.. Louder please.

10. The first AMERICANS here didn't speak English. The Native Americans here had and still do have, their own languages. Just before people start getting up on their high horse about people speaking languages other than English in public.
And with all of the Drag Queens I've seen out in public, and tiny minis on pre-adolescent teens whose mothers should know better, I'm surprised that a Burka is so controversial. If you're worried about weapons, put in detectors. Because its just as easy to hide explosives in a backpack on the subway as it is under a Burka.
This isn't about fear, its about religious hate and intolerance. Otherwise, you'd be just as concerned about knapsack. And I haven't heard jack about that.
Frankly, I'm more at risk in my world from the uneduated white trash who live in my home town and break into houses to subsidize their meth habits than I am from Miss Burka. And while their Engilsh GRAMMAR may not be the best, they DO speak English. Just sayin'
And by the WAY Jock-O. I resent the implication that I'm not a REAL American because I take umbrage to Michael Savage's stupid, intolerant, ethnocentric rant. And to the fact that he's pretty much a fathad in general.

11. Watch this and then tell me how far "over the top" Savage is. Watch this and tell us that it could not happen in our society. Those of you who "blow off" Savage have your heads buried in manure. Savage is an equal opportunity ass-kicker! If you don't like him, go back to your crack pipe.
Go to this link. Watch this young women die before your eyes! Then get back to me about how liberal you feel. Read a book for Christ sake! It doesn't even have to be a Savage book. You can start with comics.

12. Sydney, It is about fear absolutely. We've had Italians, Germans, Irish, Jewish, English, Austrailian, etc. move here and no problems. They all learned English and adapted to American ways. This is the first time any group has moved here during their home countries attacking and terrorizing us. (Well except for the Japanese and do you remember how we handled that one, we were called ugly Americans, but we did protect Americans). This is the first group that doesn't speak up against the terrorism, and now is demanding wearing masks and head to toe clothes in public. This is a real security threat. By the way backpacks should be banned in public places too. When people come to America they are expected to adapt, America does not adapt to them. This applies to those coming from South America as well. This is not about hate but security and perhaps righteous indignation. America welcomes those who want to be Americans but not those who come here to change us to their traditions. Doesn't work that way and never will.

13. A person can use a burkha to conceal his or her identity. This is the primary problem, not just the fact that weapons can be concealed under it, although the latter, especially when associated with identity concealment, is a problem as well.
Whether people like it or not, many Americans will be distrustful of a person wearing a burkha, because they can't see that person's face.

14. Postmessage, at least spell my name right. It's Michael, straight from white Ireland passed down through my African ancestors through rape, not choice. We celebrate 8 generations of americans with mixed blood of both occupier/slaver and captive/enslaved with a dash of native people by survival. You assumed I was not from this country and you are right if you go back 8 generations. How about you MISS AMERICA? By the way it's a free country so I'll add: If you do not like Burquas don't wear one, sit next to one, stand near one, look at one, just like millions of good americans won't look at your bikini, or your baggy american pants (hiding who knows what?).
michael at 1:25AM on Jul 7th 2007
15. Michael, There forgive my typo. I'm Irish/German heritage, but I only refer to myself as an American because that is where I hold my alligance and I only speak English. I, also, only respond to English. I do not wear a bikini nor baggy pants but I,also, do not feel threatened by them. However any outfit where a person's face is covered and their head to toe is covered I feel should be banned in America as they are trying to ban them in Britian. See this isn't about hate but about security. I read news about the Middle East with several examples of terrorists disguised in women's burquas. I don't have a problem with freedom of speech even if it comes across as arrogance, but I do have a problem with people wearing clothes that hides their identities and could conceal weapons. Think about what could happen, even American criminals could use the burqua as a disguise during robberies, how would we identify them on video? You might laugh, but in the Middle East the terrorists use the burqua as a disguise. Both the men and the women. Yes there have been female terrorists in burquas with suicide belts concealed. So I don't want it worn in America. At first I thought Savage was over the top but the more I listen to ignorant responses on the board the more I think maybe he's right and some American's are clueless, they are politically correcting themselves right to their own demise.
