Here is an additional Youtube Video, you decide if Mr. Rogers should be smeared. To quote youtube.
1969, the US Senate had a hearing on funding the proposed Corporation for Public Broadcasting, but President Nixon wanted it cut in half for the Vietnam War. Sometimes nice guys do win some.

31. Jeff Hoard is lying, as usual. Fox reported a study done by some loony liberal college professor. Hoard's dishonesty is an example of why Democrats cannot retain power in the U.S. anymore, they have forgotten how to tell the truth and they are utterly transparent in their dishonesty.

32. Here they go again. Faux News provides another insightful in-depth analysis of the world around us. Fair and balanced, of course. NOT! They cite some obscure, one-off "study" by some obscure, obviously clueless "professor" at the Univ. of Louisiana. They don't mention that this "professor" is a paid lackey and received quite a nice compensation for his "study". They also don't mention that the empirical evidence shows that Mr. Rogers, Big Bird, et al, have actually helped children become well-rounded and imaginative and do better in school and with other children. Faux News once again demonstrates why it will NEVER, EVER be considered a legitimate "news channel". Why are conservatives such joyless, petty, humorless, mean people? Must be something I still don't get, I guess.

33. Come on! This is so absurd! Parents are responsible for not instilling good values and a strong work ethic in their children. I watched Mr. Rogers and other PBS shows when I was growing up and I don't feel like I am owed anything because of them. People need to get a grip on reality and put blame where it is due on the parents and on the kids/young adults who need to step up and take responsibility for their own actions or lack thereof.

34. HOW SILLY! HOW TACKY! MORE OF THE BLAME GAME...THIS IS SOOOOOO SILLY. GET REAL! MR. ROGERS?? HAHA HELL, KIDS HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO KILL FOR A PAIR OF TENNIS SHOES. I DON'T THINK MR. ROGERS HAD A THING TO DO WITH THAT. PEOPLE LIKE PARIS HILTON, AND OTHER WEALTHY ACTORS, MAKE OUR YOUNG PEOPLE TODAY THINK THAT "MATERIAL THINGS" MAKE YOU SPECIAL! LITTLE ONES ARE SPECIAL!
